I really liked the idea of laser sighting on this, but unfortunately that is where the love ended.The scope looked really good and had a nice durable (looking) rubberized housing.Unfortunately, it was almost impossible to focus and seemed like there was something loose inside making it unable to hold focus.Also, the laser sighting was not even close to being lined with the optic and there was no means to adjust it.Although it looks great on paper, its design was lacking and the optics were poor.

I have 10x binoculars that make distant images demonstrably closer than this telescope, which claims a 40x magnification. I can't prove it, but multiple people testing both devices agree that it's less magnifying than the 10x binoculars. Also, the flashlight is dim and arguably pointless. There is no night vision in this scope, they market the flashlight and the laser pointer as tools to make viewing at night easier, which makes no sense and is on the verge of false advertising. It's difficult to get the image centered when viewing via the eyepiece - there is one small sweet spot when everything aligns but in most cases, the image is not centered and therefore it's difficult to use. Returned.

Very nice monocular for the money. Again, for the money image is good quality. I question whether this is 40x magnification. If you read the whole description it also says 12x. Which is it? Maybe I don’t understand optic Techical terms well enough.

The Merryhub Monocular is well made, with a substantial case, easy focus, wide field of view. Much better than my old 12X50 binoculars which I could never align with my vision. Comes with a laser pointer and also flashlight which is useful. It maked so easy to use at nights with these features. I also like the steadying grip-coated surface and the overall balance which heavy binoculars lack. I used the screw-on carrying strap to attach the eyepiece cover, the front lens cover is already attached. The coated lenses do not reduce glare and are probably not optical quality but this is a minor matter for me.

Also easy to use durable and the ability to crisply see nature . That picture quality was amazing. Would purchase again.

It exceeded my expectations. Has a beautiful sharp view easy to adjust focus. The laser sight is good and bright. The camera attachment is a little awkward to use but that doesn’t detract from the quality. I’m extremely pleased with this product.

the night vision feature is a flashlight and a laser pointer- not for long distances... say across a field checking for coyotes. but pretty clear closer.

This item is exactly as advertised. It is easy to focus, and has a lens cap for both ends. It actually has a flashlight on it too, I didn't even realize that was a feature, not that it's a necessity, but still cool.
