5-1/2 x 5-1/2 Solar Post Cap Lights, Metal and Glasses, Bronze, Wood Post Fence Post Cap Outdoor Garden Yard Deck Street Top Wall

There appear to be a high quality fixture; however, being made in a country using the metric system (which is actually every country in the whole world, except the USA) someone neglected to inform the manufacturer of the fact we (USA) have not used dimensional lumber in almost a century!If your have a square post which is actually 4” by 4” these would look great. The mounting hardware will also allow for installation on a surface larger than four inches square, but they look like 💩 on our standard 3.5” four by four.

We had our deck redone and have one post at the end of the deck that looked out of place so I thought a solar light would be perfect. The only problem is our post is 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 and they only offered 4x4. I did not measure the post before purchasing the light so we will have to adapt the post before we can place the light on it. We now have it on our railing and it looks nice there too. We live at 6000' and get snow so we'll see how if fares this coming winter. The light is not super bright but is a nice soft glow. PLEASE, offer this in a 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 as I am sure I am not the only one with this issue. Other than that it's beautiful .

LED Solar post lights added beautiful depth to our new deck. Easy install with 4 screws. LEDs illuminated soft warm light. The solar batteries easily charged and they worked 2 entire nights after a rainy day. A small amount of water did get into all the lamps after a hard rain. Considering sealing with flex seal. Heavy cast metal base and top have one weak point... the LED light is mounted in a plastic in the top which attached to the heavy base with 4 plastic tabs. Of 12, one arrived with broken tabs.The company replace it immediately. Classy warm glow. Love them.

The three that work are fine. I've returned the fourth one twice now. The first one simply did not light. The second was missing the little light amplifier over the LED and it did not light. I still like that the outer body is metal. I got the 3-5/8 ones and they DO NOT fit over a 3-5/8 post. You'll have to file or sand down the post a little to get these to fit over the top so you can screw them in.UPDATE: The third replacement light arrived today. It was missing the light amplifier over the LED but the LED lit up. I've grown tired of sending them back, so I put this one out to see how it looks once nighttime comes.UPDATE: I have returned the one with the missing light amplifier and a second one that simply did not work right out of the box. This will be the third of these that I have returned.UPDATE #2: I finally believe that I have four that work. Will be returning another one today that would not charge in daylight. I could put the battery in a charger and the light would light up at night. But if I left the unit in the sun all day, no light at night.

First, they claim to fit over a 6by post accurately. They do not. They are exactly the same size. I had to cut a 1x4 to fit inside each cap, screw it in to the post, and screw the tiny screws provided into the 1x4. It states 30 lumens, however, the light may have been 30 lumens at one point, before they removed the hi/low option and optional 2and battery capability. You can see them from a distance, but they provide no lighting for walkway. They are also white light, incase you are looking for warm light. I've gone too far now to turn back. I hope they don't crap out in a month.

I was expecting 30 lumens will be brighter than 21 lumens. The one I recently purchased has a lower lumens rating and shockingly, it was brighter. Bell Howell Solar Powered 2 Modes 21 Lumen LED Landscape Lighting Pathway Lights. I was shocked and wondering why.

This item is not worth the money.I have bought several and they work for maybe 3 weeks and all of a sudden the connections to the battery doesn’t work.I am sorry but this is not just one.I have 6 of these units and only 3 work.I have replaced this item a couple of times and am sorry to say that I can’t afford to keep replacing a subpar item. I will never purchase another one.Almost 100.00 down the drain

The top is painted plastic, not metal as expected. The glass has excessive bubbles, almost feels like defective. The LED color is daylight white, not quite matched with the antique style that this light is trying to achieve. I wish the LED light is of warmer color, then it would be reasonably satisfactory.

I ordered two of these post caps. They look beautiful, more beautiful than the ones I got previously from a hardware store. However, only one of them lights up at night. The other one does not light up at night, after being exposed to the sun throughout the day at all, even though the batteries are in both. Both light up when they are covered by hand in a lit up room to simulate darkness. I'm not sure how that works. I wish they would both work, and then I would rate them with five stars. However, since only one works, it really ruins the appearance of our stairwell railing at night. I have written the seller a message asking for a replacement. I will update my review once I get their response. UPDATE: A few days later, I received a replacement post cap from the seller. The seller was very nice to send it. I've yet to replace the light that does not work with this new one. I noticed tonight that even the one light that was working previously worked tonight only for a few hours. Then all of a sudden around 11:30 p.m., it stopped working. I wish it would stay on during the darkness the whole night, as the post caps that I got from a major hardware store (which are less beautiful than these ones) do. This problem is really too bad. If it wasn't for this, I would give the product a five-star rating. Even though something seems wrong, I am giving it four stars, because these caps do look very elegant, and also the seller was kind. Thank you!

Je suis très satisfaite de ce produit, il est exactement comme décrit. Je recherchais des lumières solaires pour poteaux en métal résistant et non en plastique pour ma véranda arrière. Ce produit est ce que je voulais, facile d'installation et robuste. Je n'ai pas vérifié combien d'heures elles restaient allumés, par contre çà dépend aussi si soleil il y a. Je recommande ce produit à toutes personnes qui cherche quelque chose de robuste et durable.

They should tell people it is just made of plastic instead of saying it is made of metal and glass. it just looks like metal. it is not metal. And these solar lights require batteries to be charged once in a while. But 2 stars because it is very pretty.

These lights are not worth the high price. I chose to spend extra hoping to get a decent product that would last longer than the typical plastic type. Very disappointed when I saw water inside the fixture after it rained. One of them no longer works after only a month of being installed!!!

Light has not worked. Mounted to the top of a 16ft post so plenty of sunlight. Light comes on during the day?...
