DAYSTAR 2.0" Jeep Jl Front and Rear Lift Kit

Installed on a 2022 2 door Willys S. I have about 1,000 miles on the kit plus one mild rock crawling trip on it.Pros:1) A true 2" spacer lift. Many other lifts try to correct the factory rake, where this kit does not. It's 2" front and 2" rear over factory ride height.2) One of the few kits that includes lower front control arms (LCA's).3) Great value, and everything you need*4) Rides at least as good as stock, if not better.5) Performed well offroad.Cons:1) The instructions that come with the kit are terrible and do not match with the parts in the kit. I watched a lot of YouTube videos before hand but good instructions that match the parts would have been helpful.2) Speaking of parts, inspect the list well before you begin. I had extra bolts of one size, extra bushings, and bushing sleeves, but missing a few other bolts. Be ready for a hardware store trip.3) The metal parts, especially the control arms, will need to be painted.4) The control arm sleeves had a weld seem on the inside that hand the be filed down. Luckily, a Dremel sanding wheel fit perfectly (see picture).Verdict: Even with the cons, I would absolutely buy the kit again. I am very pleased with the ride and trail performance and that more than made up for the downsides on the install.

Bought brand new. Package came in and I am missing 2 sway bar links, a spacer, a bump stock and one of the metal brackets. QC is not top tier. Called Daystar and of course they're closed on weekends. Will be asking for a brand new entire assembly set and hopefully they will send it. Or atleast the parts I need.

I spent a lot of time researching lifts for my 2021 JLU Rubicon. I had 4 criteria:1. under $5002. Longer sway bar links3. Shock extenders4. Non leveling kit( I wanted to raise all 4 corners the same).This kit checked all the boxes. My only 2 quibbles are the parts are basically bare and the instructions are horrendous. A can of under coating and a couple YouTube videos got me comfortable.The Jeep now fits 35’s perfectly, rides great, and aligned perfectly. I am super happy!

This lift kit is fine, but it is just a spacer lift kit and you can find better ones for the price. I went with this one because this one included control arms - had I known that these control arms are less than 1/4" different than the stock ones, I would have preferred to save the money.Quality of the kit was weak. My kit included two extra control arms for no reason (definitely extra, as they didn't come with the bushings for the inside like the other set). This lack of QC makes me question the durability of the parts in the long run. Also, the instructions suck and there is no video to be found. For instance, If you are going to install this, I would add:1) You need to use all longer bolts for the rear shock bracket, because you'll need the shorter, fully-threaded ones for the front sway bar linkage. The instructions just say "use the included hardware" for everything.2) The control arms can only be installed if there's full weight on the wheels, everything unlifted.

This is a great lift. I put it on my 2018 JL Wrangler Unlimited. I was able to install it without any special tools, in my garage, by my self. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most difficult, I'd say this install is about a 2-3. It's very straight forward, and can be done by most DIY Jeepers.The kit provided the advertised 2" of lift on my 4 door Jeep, and the ride is unchanged from stock.Great kit, I would certainly recommend to a friend.

Quality isn't great. I'm not sure I'll use the control arms even though they're the only thing that came painted I don't think it'll hold up. I'll probably powder coat what I can. I'm also missing the hardware kit, sway bar links, and front shock extensions. I'll see if they're willing to send me some.
