These are great fenders. The aluminum construction gives a premium feel, and the coverage is excellent. Adjusting the 4 posts to get the fender aligned with the wheel can be a bit finicky, especially if you're mounting on disc brakes and one side is mounted much further out than the other. I found on my bike I needed to use the disc brakes spacer on the front fender, but not on the rear just based on my bike's specific layout. Another note about the two bolts included for mounting on the front fork, one was too short and one was way too long. I ended up using the shorter bolt and not using the lock but on it. The mounting holes in my front fork are threaded, so I'm hoping that will be enough to keep it tight and secure. Time will tell. So far it has been a few weeks and it seems fine. I made it to work without any road splatter on my ever since I installed these, so they're certainly doing their job. They look great

These fenders are a little on the expensive side, but worth the extra money, I think. They're all metal, except for the mud flap, and have a very nice finish (powder coated maybe?). Everything I needed to install them was included, and everything appeared to be high quality. The fasteners are all stainless, and everything fit my 20 year old Trek frame without modification or difficulty. I glanced at the instructions (Too small to read....I'm 60 years old), then just went ahead and installed the fenders. I'm fairly capable with a wrench, so it took me less than 20 minutes to install both fenders. Tools are not included, I needed a couple of small metric wrenches (8 and 10mm, I think), and a metric allen wrench (I don't remember what size). The fenders work great. They are solidly mounted, and I can ride the bike paths near my house after a rain now without getting covered in muck. NIce.

I bought this fender before for my mtb 650b 50mm very easy to install and good coverage. The fender is very sturdy (stainless steel) and heavy too (2.1lb package.) So I bought a second one for my friend but came scratches here and there. The top fender metal rubbed and scratched the bottom fender. Poor manufacturer packaging. I am not sure if this one is used. I would expect no scratches at the price of $75. Returning might look for other options. Very expensive but sturdy fender will last a long time. That's why 4 stars.

This is a Dahon Speed D8.The fenders fit very well. Installation was easy, but with one minor issue regarding the front fender. The bracket must be attached to the rear of the fork, not the front as the instructions suggest. Keep in mind that the rear wheel must be removed in order to install these. Other than that, they were installed within 45 minutes, and I am no expert.After my initial 10 mile ride, I heard no rattling whatsoever. Super high quality product. Definitely worth the extra money, especially when compared to the fenders that Dahon offers, which are plastic.

Easy to install. Fit is perfect and they look great on the bike.

I bought these 27.5"×60mm fenders to fit on my 26"×2.2" hard tail mountain bike.The 27.5" fender isnt a perfect fit right out of the box for 26" wheels, but they are easy to manipulate, and I needed the extra tire clearance compared to the 26" fenders. The tire/ fender clearance is still closer than the recommended 10mm, but for the most part I am on city roads and not worrying about sticks, rocks, and mud. I wouldn't recommend this exact setup for someone planning to be off road on wooded trails, but for rough urban riding/commuting these are perfect. I have jumped on/off curbs and ridden down stairs and there is no rattling or tire rub.I have 180cm disc brakes and the fender doesn't interfere with the brake calipers, and if it did, the kit provides spacers so you can mount the fenders side stays farther away from the frame.I havent installed the front fender just yet, I will once I change out the current fork for a rigid suspension-corrected fork. As seen in the photos the rear fender connects to the frame in 4 places.All in all a solid and light fender with nice looks. Bonus points for all the hardware being included.

I am not easy on my bike. I have these on my "do everything" bike and I mean do EVERYTHING. I go everywhere on it. On road, off road and everywhere in between. While I wish the mounts were a little less flimsy, as the fender isn't mounted very rigidly, it is on well enough that it hasn't taken any damage in the nearly 6 months of hard riding they've been through. The black paint holds up well too. I debated getting silver to avoid the scratches showing but, honestly, these haven't scratched any that I can tell. I was also worried about "clanking" from rocks getting thrown up in to the metal fender but I haven't noticed this either... either these don't make a lot of noise when stuff hits them or rocks getting thrown up in the fender is not as common as I'd imagined.

Very, very minimal instructions. If you don't have prior knowledge of how to install these, you'll likely find yourself re-reading the instructions multiple times and scratching your head along the way. Fenders were also missing a nut, had to go scavenging around my garage for one that fit these bolts. Other than that, yeah, they stop water from getting on your butt when the road is wet.

Being Universal fitment it all depends how many Guard mounts your Bike has to determine how easy they are to put on. in my case it was relatively easy just a few tweaks later and now are totally rattle free and look fantastic, the finish on them looks quality and should last a long time and the front and rear flexible mudflaps give excellent coverage protection from water splashes. Please note that light fitting doesn’t come with Gaurds I added that.
