Seems to work well for me. Since the original location was impossible to reach without fully disassembling the entire chair, I was able to drill some small holes in the metal frame and use self tapping screws to secure these clips. The result is not quite in the perfect spot, but it works great.The hardest part after finding the right screws was putting the springs back on, but these clips are tapered at the sides to make this a little easier.Would be 5 stars if they came with screws.

It can be a challenge to remount a clip in the position that the manufacturer mounted it in but with a little reorientation of the clip you can mount the clip very to its original orientation. Start the screw holes with a nail of sufficient diameter at an oblique angle into the wood passing through the top clip holes through the bottom clip slots. screw in the screws enough to stabilize the clip but leave it open enough to slide the furniture spring in sideways when the spring is in place in the clip then screw the screws fully into the wood of the furniture .the set of 25 would allow you to repair at two pieces of furniture if all their clips were missing So you will have plenty for several pieces of furniture with only a few clips missing .Manufacturers clips for Berkline are hammered or mechanically stapled into the frame but these replacement clips are screwed

Should work. These were replacements for plastic clips.Not sure if universal or not.Did not work for my Thomasville sofa.

Do not buy!!!!! This product came with extremely dented shelves. Defiantly not heavy duty!!!

perfect to fix the springs in a chair that has z springs with 90 degree bend that insert into the chair bottom they always break at 90 degree bend these clips aloww you to repair chair using the old spring and just add clips to broken spring works great
