Love these scissors, they are durable and hold an edge.

I use these in the kitchen. After getting the scissors messy (with food, sauce, oils, etc.), it's super easy to disassemble and clean them. Also the handles are comfortable.

I bought these to use as rescue/safety shears for SCUBA diving. I decided I needed shears after watching a video of a diver cutting fishing lines off a dolphin asking for help, and realizing I couldn't do that with a knife only.They have worked out very well, and are really hard to beat for the price. The coating has held up well to saltwater diving, I've taken them on a dozen dives and it is holding up well. One of the first dives I left them in the wet holster for the trip home, and ended up with a couple of very minor rust spots. Since then I've cleaned them with WD40 (letting a film of it dry on them) and make a practice of taking them out of the holster until I can wash and dry them. This has avoided any more corrosion. It helps that the blades separate for drying, avoiding trapped water in the pivot.The holster has worked great for diving, I either slide it over the buckle of my weight pocket (fits over 2" webbing squeeze release) or just put velcro strap through the knife grommets. It holds the shears securely and is easy to operate.

We have a drawer full of scissors we're dissatisfied with. They're all either too short (so it takes forever to cut something big) or too delicate (so the scissors get caught on anything slightly thick). After carefully reading the reviews, we chose this pair for household tasks. We really like that you can take apart the scissors easily for cleaning, though we're worried about the security of the latch system over time because it was so easy to take apart. Maybe that'll work out to be a benefit, though--easily unhinge after a messy job... And the metal is heavy and seems durable. More, the manufacturer offers a generous, confident lifetime warranty against defects. Terrific!Our only complaint--and it's a big one for us--is the blade length. We just measured it twice: 3-inches. So, like our other scissors, we'll have to invest a lot of time to cut things. We just used these to cut up a giant cardboard box another Amazon delivery arrived in. It was frustrating. We ended up tearing most of the box into odd, unwieldy pieces for our recycling barrel.So we're still looking for a pair of household scissors built as tough as these but with a blade of 6-inches or more.

This is the second pair of these I've bought because my husband moved for work while I finish my grad program and we needed a pair for him. I love these. Strong, cut things, easy to clean. I'd buy again they're that good.

This is my second pair of Claus scissors and I was trying to figure out where to put them to good use. Went to butcher today and bought 5 pounds of chicken wings on special. Now how to process these sweeties? That's right, my new scissors and did they work well. They cut through those wing joints like they were paper. Now to find the next use. stay tuned.

I have one pair in my toolbox and one pair in the kitchen. If you buy items like I do that are blister packed and impossible to open these scissors will cut through the plastic easily. These scissors are essential!

These are extremely sturdy I've cut so much heavy cardboard with these and they are super strong and I will probably get another just because they are a great product

These scissors are not serrated. I specifically needed a serrated cutting edge to cut Dyneema rope but these scissors have smooth cutting edges.

On only the second or third time using the scissors, they broke. The piece that holds both halves together came off. I have since tried super-gluing it into the slot it has come out of, but it broke again after I had been using it for a few minutes.

A very nice pair of scissors at a good price. I bought them to use at my allotment, mainly to cut lengths of weed control fabric but they will be used for lots of general cutting tasks. They are really comfortable to hold, come apart for cleaning and have their own nylon storage pouch. Would certainly recommend them.

They fall apart as the screw holding blades is useless after 3rd use ..worst ever

these scissors are fantastic only 1 problem if you intend to buy them they are very stiff to open and close ive tried wd40 and 3in1 oil but they didnt help i use them for snipping grass where mower or strimmer cant get into my wife tried using them but had to give up
