Very good quality picture and easy for kids to use the players
We were preparing for a long car ride, so needed something to keep our twins busy. We tried these. The straps were a little difficult to figure out, as we had to figure out how to secure them on the headrest. The design for the straps is not intuitive, so we treated it like a puzzle and were able to figure it out after about 5 minutes. They really need better instructions for how to attach them. The power plug that plugs into the power point in the vehicle didn't stay secure in the back of the main player, so we had to use tape to secure it. Weird, considering it is specifically for that player. Those however, are the only complaints, and let's face it - they are minor. The power cord is nice and long, we were able to string it over the backs of both chairs, up along the clothing hooks and handles, and across the vehicle to the power point, with room to spare. (Only one power point in the back of the Grand Caravan on the left slide door frame - we chose to put the player screen on the right so the front passenger could manipulate it if necessary) The cable that attaches one machine to another plugs in like a phone cord, so stayed very secure. We wrapped the excess connection cord around one of the headrests a couple time to keep that off the floor and decrease the trip hazard as the kids usually exit from one side of the car or the other. The sound quality is excellent, loud and crisp, we were thankful for the headphone plugs - as once they plugged in, it was blessedly quiet in the back seat. And the vehicle seat pockets were the perfect place to put the headphones during "pit stops" The picture quality is also really great. It doesn't play Blue Ray, but honestly, we don't buy blue ray often. With a good DVD player, the difference in picture quality is barely noticeable - that was not a deal breaker for us.The picture size was good for the car, it was big enough that if I moved my seat up, it wasn't too far away, but if my husband moved the seat back, it didn't feel like it was right in front of their faces. Both kids loved the players and asked when we could take another road trip so they can use it again. (They even asked if we could bring the players into the house for them to watch - they liked them better than the 65-inch screen on the wall..)The remote is easy to use and really convenient, because when I have my seat moved forward, the kids didn't have to worry about reaching the controls or having to unbuckle their seat belt to manipulate the controls. (They also like to rewind and replay their favorite scenes and the remote was very convenient for that.) The discs were easy to change, so I could change them from the front seat, with very little effort.I like that fact that only one player has the DVD function, this means they watch together, or only one person can watch alone. No need to worry about separate videos, changing multiple discs, or fighting over who has which disc. They compromised on what to watch, and even took turns holding the remote. There is an on/off switch for each player, which I liked, because if one was watching and one did not want to, the person not watching didn't have to have his on, flashing in his face while trying to read or play on his tablet. The only downside - the person who wanted to watch had to sit in front of the player. Can't play a DVD from the player and have the screen off.We have never owned anything like this in the past, and I was skeptical that we would find one of these systems that would be user friendly. But, honestly, aside from figuring out how to strap them on the back of the headrest, this system is easy to use and great picture quality. For the price, you can' t beat it. I would definitely recommend this for any road trips. We had an amazingly quiet trip, 4 hours each way.....

Great DVDs but needs a home charger
I love the wider screen these offer compared to other companies. Great picture quality as well, sound could be a little higher but for the most part it’s manageable. I love the dual screens and have the ability to stream the movie on two different screens or just one depending on what our needs are.Con, no home charger. We could totally use this more often if it came with one? Maybe the company can fix this issue and start including it in the package?

Nice size screen
I got this set for my kids because I want a good size screen that is bigger than the standard 9-10 inch ones. Firstly, the straps are crap. They are way too long to even use on the headrest as shown in their product ad pictures. I'll be looking for more sturdier brackets to hold these instead. My straps ripped and unraveling during me trying to strap it onto the headrest. They are really thin cheap quality. The picture quality is good and the sound is good. The remote is not as responsive as I would like a standard remote to be. All cables are easy to hook up. I wish the power av cable is a little bit longer so that I can hide the cable and not let it dangle at the kids' feet for them to kick and trip on. We'll see how this unit stands as we continue to use it.

Large Portable Player
We purchased these in December as a Christmas gift for our kids. Large screens, easy to install, great picture. I was surprised you can use the DVD player while it is not plugged in. That was a nice feature. Each monitor has its own sound - so if one monitor has headphones plugged in, the other monitor will still have sound come out of the speaker. Remote works well.About 6 months in, the screen stopped accepting charge so we could not use it. I thought it was the cord, but it seems to be a problem inside the monitor. I contacted the company and they agreed to send me a new set. Great customer service!I will update my review if the new set has any issues. So far, we would recommend this set.

Great portable DVD players
Firstly, I would agree with most of the other commenters that the strap system is confusing. I ended up kind of figuring out a way to use the horizontal strap, although I don't know if it is the intended way or not. A video of how to use the straps properly would be fantastic, and some more documentation/explanation on how they are intended to be used.Other than that 1 complaint, the first set I ordered, the secondary monitor was not working. The vendor returned it without issue, mailing the new set at the same time. The DVD monitors are great, they both have good sound for the kids, and have huge screens. The door to open on the DVD player can be a little bit of a challenge for my kids, but that's something they will get used to. The screens are great color, and resolution. I really like that there are controls on the front of the screen for volume, and playback. That way the kids don't need to have the remote all the time. I also like being able to power off the units via the switches on the sides, or from the remote.I have not used the memory card functionality yet. I may someday.

Bummed out!
I purchased this in April, the first product was defective so the seller sent me another one. Worked perfect and my kids loved it but now it is January and it doesn’t work anymore. Every disc I put in doesn’t spin and I get a no disc sign on the screen. It no longer reads the dvd. Not even a year did this last. Keep looking for something else with better quality that will last. For what this cost it hurts.
