Tyler Florence's Real Kitchen: An Indispensable Guide for Anybody Who Likes to Cook

Tyler's recipes are easy to follow and have delicious results! The ingredients he uses are easy to find in your local supermarket. There are a handful of recipes that require some pricier ingredients including lobster, oysters, duck, sashimi grade salmon, and crab but I figure that these recipes can be used for special occasions. I have tried about 10 recipes so far and all have turned out great! Prior to a majority of recipes, Tyler includes a little blurb which includes a helpful hint, recommendation of a recipe in the book to accompany said recipe or story of why the dish is special to him. I thought this addition made each recipe a little extra special.Recipes are divided into the following sections:- Table for Two- Dinner with Friends- One Pot Wonders- Food for the Great Outdoors- The Cocktail Party- A Little on the Side- Sweet ToothDefinitely recommend this cookbook!

Tyler Florence is my all-time favorite TV chef, cookbook author, and just chef - cook... This book is well written! I especially love all of his personal touches... This book has easy to follow recipes and lots of pictures, which I love...

Tyler is my favorite Chef... I get and print his recipes from Food Network all the time... Then it downed on me... Why not buy his Recipe Book? I just got it... had to try the first one already, Spaghetti in Clam Sauce. Wow! Easy to follow and the result was incredible. I didn't alter it at all... clams, capers, anchovies... never occurred to me... Wonderful!!.. Have you ever read a recipe and started savoring the results? This is that kind of recipe book. I am elated (and so is my family) to have bought it! Love it!

I ordered this book and Tyler's "Eat this book" for my wife and she loves them both. The two really compliment each other. Tyler Forence's cookbooks are highly recommended for anyone that loves to cook.

(Same review as Tyler's Ultimate)I love watching Tyler's show on Food Network and his dishes always look so delicious. But his cookbooks (I have another one as well) are not really for a busy Mom like me. The ingredients are not particularly everyday stuff. It's good if you're a professional cook like him or you're single, have all the time in the world to go look for all these ingredients (some unusual and expensive), then have the time to wash up after yourself once all the cooking is done. His recipes are a bit too complicated for me. I'd rather go to a fancy restaurant and order these types of dishes than cook them myself at home. The names of his dishes read like they should be on a menu of a fancy restaurant! Sorry Tyler!! Sorry I bought 2 of your cookbooks as well. Did not get my money's worth. Much prefer Ina and Giada's recipes.

Amazingly easy to prepare and so delicious. No home should be without this book.

Bought this for my 84 year old mother who watches Tyler's show daily. She has totally changed her way of cooking and has created many delicious meals out of this book. Thanks Tyler!
