REDREXMetal Bowden Extruder Bowden Tube Stiff Bed Leveling Springs Upgrade Kit for Ender 3 V2 Ender 3 Pro and CR10 Series 3D Printers

The bed springs cut down dramatically on the amount of tinkering needed to level the bed. It still needs tweaked, but not to the degree that the stock springs required. The extruder was a great upgrade! The plastic stock one was hard to use and seemed flimsy. This one is nice and sturdy and is running great. Installation was a breeze.

The quality of the components in this set is outstanding. And as the title says, this kit contains 2 key *absolute must-have* upgrades to the Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro. The bed springs that come stock are atrocious. And the plastic extruder--well, my Ender 3 Pro has only been in use for about a month, and it already has noticeable wear to the holes where the filament feeds in.The bed springs significantly stiffen the bed, reducing the need to readjustment and failed prints. Protip: while you've got the bed off, thread on a 4mm nylon locknut to hold the bed screws tightly to the underside of the bed (see attached photo.) There's numerous Youtube videos showing how to do this. Be careful not to scratch the bed heating element--though you'd really have to screw up to manage to do that.The one caveat with this kit is that the newer Enders have the extruder drive gear press-fit onto the shaft, which means you'll have to replace the extruder stepper--about $10-15. Totally worth it, though, as this gear has much deeper teeth than the stock extruder driver.Perhaps Redrex should consider including the nylon locknuts in the kit as well, since they make it so much easier to adjust the bed level--no more having the screw turn when you turn the adjustment knob, leading to frustration.Overall, I saw a noticeable improvement in print quality as soon as I installed this kit. Absolutely a must-have upgrade--and the price is excellent!

Reasonably easy to install but you NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO INSTRUCTIONS. Some of the washer/screws are very similar and easily mis-installed. Looks sturdy.

Overall good kit, it was very convenient to have nearly everything I needed to give my printer a nice boost. The springs were simple to install and seem to work well so far; and the extruded part feels solid. I only have a couple complaints that keep this from being a 5-star product.1) the Bowden tube is of fairly questionable quality. The ends were cut crooked, and there seems to be excess friction on filament when I tried running it through a part of the tube manually. Now, I didn’t get this kit for the Bowden tube, but if I had I probably would have been quite disappointed.2) The extruded kit lacks quality instructions on assembly. There are a series of snapshots and that’s it. Nothing written, and to top it off, the kit was missing a couple screws it needed. Thankfully I was able to reuse the stock screws, but I’m still hoping I assembled everything properly!So far though, so good. The persistent knocking/slipping my extruded was giving before is gone, and my machine looks much sturdier.

Was having under- and over-extrusion issues on a 2-year old Ender 3 with the stick springs, extruder and Bowden. This installed easily and had a tremendous effect on print quality. The instructions don't show it, but the extra red spacer goes into the pivot hole on the moving arm.Otherwise, instructions good and anything you can't figure out, just ask YouTube.Easily the best $11 you're going to spend on your Ender: extruder Bowden, connectors and springs. These are the most common upgrades at the best price and good quality.

I installed all the components of the upgrade kit on an Ender 3 Pro. The extruder and bed springs are a definite upgrade over stock components. The strength of the extruder spring means that extrusion is more reliable. It will chew up the filament if you run excessive retractions on a job. I leveled the bed after installing the bed springs and haven't had to touch it since. The bowden tube is good quality but a capricorn is probably still the best route to go. Be sure to check your stepper calibration after the install. For what you get, this upgrade kit is great value.

Not sure the metal extruder tensioner/plate makes much of a difference, but it does look nice. Machining quality is good overall, though I noticed a few back-side hole chamfers were offset, and it looks like the finishing endmill might have needed to be comped up a few thou based on the tool marks. No effort made to finish the edge-breaking chamfers into the corners by hand filing, and not tumbled, so that's a bit crap. Anodizing is gorgeous though.The extruder tensioner/plate components were compatible with the direct drive mod I had previously installed, which was pleasant.The bed springs were the most valuable upgrade out of this kit, which surprised me. The higher K springs made a significant improvement over the stock springs, in terms of mechanical rigidity, and the stability of the leveling setting... the knobs just don't move as easily if bumped accidentally, or by vibration over time.The tubing was present, and otherwise unremarkable. I did replace the short section of tubing between the direct drive and hot end, and it has functioned as expected.I have recommended this kit to a friend already.

Ursprünglich war ich auf der Suche nach besseren Nivellierfedern für mein Ender 3 v2,doch dieses Set hat mich mit seinem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überzeugt.Zum Zeitpunkt des Upgrades hatte ich den Drucker noch nicht viel im Einsatz, also kann ich keine Aussagen über die Haltbarkeit der Originalteile machen.Mir waren jedoch schon viele Berichte bekannt, dass es gut ist zumindest die Federn zu tauschen.Dieser Metall Extruder sieht sehr gut aus und macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Das einzige was ich gegenüber dem Original vermisse ist der kleine Haken am hinteren Rand der beim Kabelmanagement hilft.Dies ist aber weiter nicht Schlimm, denn ein Ersatz findet sich auf Thingiverse (thing:3242340).Mir gefällt, dass das Filamentgetriebe etwas scharfere Zähne hat als das Original und das Filament somit besser festhalten kann.Die Kupplung hält den Bowdenschlauch sehr fest. Der ürsprüngliche, blaue Sicherungsclip hat bei mir nicht mehr draufgepasst, doch einen etwas größeren kann man sich schnell drucken.Wahrscheinlich könnte die Kupplung auch ohne Sicherungsclip betrieben werden.Zum Bowdenschlauch kann ich nicht viel sagen, er macht seinen Dienst. Es hätte mich gefreut, wenn er höhere Temperaturen aushält als das Original, doch eigentlich musste ich noch nie mit mehr als 230°C drucken (max. 240°C).Farblich passt er auf jeden Fall besser als der Weiße.Die Nivellierfedern sind wohl das merkbarste Upgrade. Sie haben eine angemessene Härte und in den letzten 2 Wochen musste ich mein Bed nicht nachleveln. (Davor fast täglich.)Insgesamt bin mit dem Kauf sehr zufrieden. Das Set hält alles was es verspricht.

I needed an replacement extruder for my Ender 3 since the stock plastic one had cracked and wasn't extruding any filament.Simple installment of the extruder thanks to good instructions, and the the look and feel of it is waaay better then the stock one, and it feels alot sturdier. I also switched my springs to the ones in this pack since I needed a little stiffer ones, and these did the trick.Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the products, and they are definitely a well worth purchase and a good upgrade to my printer.

Recently purchased an ender 3 v2, however the original extruder was plastic and not very strong. Read multiple reviews on the internet and first upgrade had to be this aluminum extruder with better springs. All received within a few days, replacement was easy and the printer is more accurate now.Many thanks!

Ho acquistato questo kit in concomitanza con l'ordine della stampante (Ender 3 V2) come uno dei primi upgrade e perché leggendo le recensioni ne ho sentito parlare come fosse un life changer.Ho pagato l'articolo 14€, inizialmente ero solo in cerca delle molle presenti nel kit, visto che ho saputo della differenza con le molle originali, quindi ho deciso di aggiungere qualche euro per avere ulteriori upgrade.Devo dire che la differenza è davvero palpabile, volevo testare le molle e il braccio dell'estrusore di stock per un po' di tempo ma nel giro di meno di due settimane mi sono ritrovato costretto a montare l'upgrade.Le molle le ho messe quasi subito, invece che calibrare ogni 2-3 stampe si arriva a farne tranquillamente 10 se non si muove manualmente il piatto.Arrivando all'estrusore (o comunque il coso rosso, insomma ci siamo capiti fra') ho dovuto cambiarlo perché l'originale si era inceppato, liberandolo è rimasto del filamento attaccato ai denti dell'ingranaggio di trasmissione impedendo di caricare il nuovo filamento. Piuttosto che perdere tempo a pulire tutto smontandolo ho deciso di cambiarlo direttamente con questo kit. Purtroppo, l'estrusore di stock è di plastica, ergo molto fragile e le viti non sono il massimo. Smontandolo, con le brugole nella dotazione della stampante, si è spanata una vite, alla fine ho dovuto letteralmente tagliarlo in due con delle tronchesi da elettricista, pessimo materiale di stock.Mi ha salvato completamente questo kit, con il corpo in alluminio posso stare tranquillo con la sua solidità.Questo kit, per un prezzo esiguo e un'ottima qualità, migliora nettamente la manutenzione della stampante.Non solo lo consiglio, ci terrei a dire che è praticamente indispensabile.

La actualización de todo el mecanismo extrusor es fantástica! El aluminio es duro y pesado de muy buena calidad con un anodizado perfecto. Viene incluida toda la tornillería, incluso la salida del filamento con el cierre para el tubo bowden (también incluido). Este cierre es bastante mejor que el original porque es más grande, de acero en lugar de latón y cierra mucho mejor. La rueda dentada cuenta con unos dientes más pronunciados que la original por lo que la tracción se mejora mucho y va fenomenal. El muelle hace una presión muy buena sin dañar el filamento pero sin que resbale de ninguna forma. Se instala en un suspiro sin necesidad de más herramientas que las que ya vienen en la impresora (dos llaves allen simplemente). Está ya probado en la impresora y el funcionamiento es impecable.Muy contento con la compra.
