I now always line these pots with the same type brown spongy lining as in the hanging wire baskets. I use these pots inside and usually replace the cotton cord with the different length chain sets available on Amazon. These pots have drainage and look of good quality. The light of day or even inside lights bounce off the silver. Very nice!! I wish they came in small succulent size and small to medium size for rhipsalis and hoyas. I purchase the fiber liners at local big box stores or use plastic flower containers much like you would in a cache pot.

This was one of those items that, from the first moment you take it out of the box, you just fall in love. I'm a huge fan of all things rustic, farmhouse, shabby chic, boho, or just plain down-home country -- and this planter fits into every one of those decors. It appears to be very well made, durable, and long-lasting. Personally, I would not describe it as "lightweight" as the description does, because it has quite a hefty weight to it - but I love that about it! Such a solid and heavier feel makes me all the more assured that it's going to hold what I put in it with no problem at all. And although this seems to be intended as a planter, I'm already seeing that it could serve many more purposes if you wanted to get creative. Maybe in the kitchen holding potatoes or lots of beautiful red and green apples? I can't wait to let my creative side take over and have fun with this planter. It is SO unique, so sturdy and well made, and I'm pretty sure will end up being a conversation piece no matter where you put it or how you use it. With the holidays right around the corner, I'm already thinking of purchasing a couple more for gifts. Not only would it be an awesome gift, but you can probably be pretty sure it's something they don't already have. :) Love it, love it, love it!

The pots are really well made and beautiful. The rope hangers would not last very long. I rigged up some chains, s hooks and a carabineer for the top. That will look good and last A LOT LONGER than the rope. I believe that the pots were a good deal even though i spent $21 on hardware to replace the rope with chains.

I was happily surprised with these planters. They are really beautiful and sturdy. The roping is also really pretty, but I worry about it being able to stand up to weather and planter weight with dirt and plant. So far so good. I pot my plants to hang outside under cover and inside when weather gets cold. These seem perfect for that use.

I could not be happier with these planters. They are so beautiful and sturdy. I have tried to many hanging planters and all of them were too short, but these are perfect! My only regret is getting the two pack instead of three. I really wish they would make some similar just a different size/shape, because I would fill my house with them!

I love these ordered to hang in a big white kitchen window. Goes great with my stainless and use it to hang fresh herbs for clippings.

I was tired of the bamboo, coconut fiber and plastic. This has lots of style, is more sturdy and costs about the same. What are you waiting for?

A perfect way to kill a plant. I'm pretty disappointed. I wanted something sturdier than plastic to hang my favorite hoya from, but ceramics seemed a bit to heavy and expensive for this size. This looks really pretty, but I am not risking my 10 year old plant getting root rot for it. Bad quality control
