Very nice Vinyl ! His performance live is vivid and brings more quality to every song...Extremely recommended also for new fans from Satchmo, since the discs contain very popular music from him.

I didn't read the front of the cover because when I got it I didn't realize it was live which made it a surprise and a good one! I love his music and I even love the little bit of static on the record as it makes me feel nostalgic. Thank you for a great record!

Louis Armstrong's last recording features his vocals on a surprising collection of songs, including 'What a Wonderful World,' 'The Creator has a Master Plan (Peace)' [+ Leon Thomas, vocals], 'Mood Indigo', 'This Cat has 9 Lives,' 'Give Peace a Chance' [John Lennon], etc. Great orchestra and vocal backing. A joyful and inspirational time!

The Vinyl came in perfect! This song was my husband and i’s song for our wedding so had to get it on vinyl!

I was starting to get worried that it might not arrive as it was close to the arrive by date which was 6 weeks following UK shipping but it arrived in perfect condition and the live recording is better than any other live album I’ve ever heard.

What a Wonderful Worldの新録目当てで買いました。ラジオで初めて聞いたときはびっくりしました。別ヴァージョンがあるとは知りもしなかった。それ以来探してこの作品にたどり着きました。生前最後の作品です。そのことを知ってかわかりませんが、この名曲を再録した心持を考えると興味深いです。イントロで「What a Wonderful Worldってどういう意味？と子供に訊かれて・・・・」と続く語りから歌に繋がる所は特に今の時代に重みが有ります。そして、John Lennonの「Give Peace a Chance]でのラップのような歌で締める、いわば平和への祈りを込めた作品です。残念なのは、ジャケットと録音状態がいまいち。

この曲は、天国への旅立ち一年前、Bob Thiel による企画で <<Satchimo and His Friends>>版に収録された内の曲であり、ほんの数枚の CD にしか見いだせない希少曲です。歌うのもやっとの体調状態で、まさに最後の記念すべき録音といえます。ピ－ト・シ－ガ－もいいですが、聴いてください　"サッチモの魂の叫びといえるボ－カルを”、感動はじわ－っときます。
