This is a great product! It arrived extremely fast
This is a great product! It arrived extremely fast. I bought this to use with my ochem class, and I am so glad I did. This model set is a grade saver. This set comes with a good amount of pieces and I'm able to make multiple models at the same time. There's also a handy key that states which element each color represents. When you first open the package, the models can be initially difficult to put together, but with use the bonds fit in the atoms much easier.

Just what I was looking for
Psh. Don't wast your money on the more expensive set with less pieces. This did just the job I needed in a compact set. Sometimes the bonds are a little difficult to insert, but I've found that to be the case with every set I've used. And this one comes with a cool tool to help you remove bonds and lone pairs that actually works! So I've been pleased.

Fantastic Product
I purchased these for my husband after looking at many other sets which were similar in nature, all I can say is that these are amazing! The pieces go together easily and come apart easily without "falling apart". There's a decent amount of different elements but would of like to see more of certain elements. I believe this is a fantastic start kit for anyone of any age interested in building molecules.

Materials are decent, minus two stars for being overpriced plastic balls. Made in China. It should cost less, not more
Materials are decent. Minus two stars for being overpriced plastic balls. Made in China. That means it should cost less, not more, right?Student goughing on the price, otherwise, should help you conceptualize molecule conformations and structure. Now if they could only put in the electron models, these would truly be complete. Those that do not understand chemistry are doomed to not understand how life and the earth work. These models bring light to the darkness of our shadowed minds. Good on you for being in school, or better yet, teaching it.

Fun and Educational
Got this set for a teenager to learn about molecules. She likes it, and everyone else likes it, too. It turns out that almost all of us like putting these little bobbles and joints together.

This is a great hands-on kit to teach organic and inorganic chemistry concepts to elementary children through college aged adults. Much better than another kit we purchased through another company. The instructions were very detailed, yet very simple to understand and teach from. My kids LOVE making up compounds and uses for them. Color-coded guide was sent to out email for downloading and printing out. Would highly recommend to teachers or lovers of science!

These are really great. Maybe I'm a nerd but I have so much fun with these. They make a great study tool for visualizing and memorizing functional groups and compounds. They pop together and apart easily. I haven't had to struggle to get any of the pieces together. I hope to order another set.

Versatile system for making molecular models
The molymod system has been in use for decades. It is the default system in schools. This paricular set is particularly useful for carbon chemistry. Students gain a much better appreciation of the structure of molecules by building their own models. The models can last for years.
