GIGPAD Guitar Rest & Isolation Pad for amps and speakers

Doesn't work well on slippery surfaces (like soaked with beer). Plus the worry is greater that the guitar will slide sideways, fall on its neck, then bye bye guitar. Like so many guitarish accessories, great in theory, but in practice .... eh!

Fantastic addition when you want to pack light (guitar, cords, stand, amp) and/or when your gig has you in a tight space. About the size of a small dinner plate, the GigPad can act as a no-slip and protective base for your guitar or base or it can act as a no-slip holder at the the point where an instrument neck is leaned against an amp.Additionally, it works great as a protective pad over the bridge of my nice travel guitar (a Taylor GS Mini) when I'm carrying it on a plane.I use one myself and have given them away as nice, useful, and appreciated door prizes for music events.

This was a gift for my husband. He said it's solved a lot of problems with what to do with his guitar when he just needs to set it down for a few moments. He wasn't sure how it would work out when he first got it, but it proved its usefulness immediately.

Great product; protects the bottom of the instrument as well as the carpet from the bottom strap button. It is small and light enough to tote around in a gig bag. The guitar rests comfortably in the pad. I would strongly suggest using it in conjunction with something to rest the neck on.

This guitar rest was absolutely perfect and worthy of everyone's joy except for the narcissistic jackass that I bought it for. It's sturdy stylish and very well grounded and worth the money. Especially if the receiver is a self-centered a hole.

It works! What a difference to carry this around instead of an old fashioned guitar stand. I bought 3 total for gifts and think I got the bargain of the year.

Kids got this for their dad. He's gonna love it! Ingenious idea!!
