Della 14000 BTU Smart Inverter Ultra Quiet Energy-Saving Portable Air Conditioner Cools Up To 450 Sq.Ft Geo Fencing, with Remote & App Control, Dehumidifier & 3 speed Fan, Sleep Mode

I was looking for a quiet(er) air conditioner and picked this Della model with 14,000 BTUs for cooling my main living space. Using the "Sound Meter" app from the Google Play Store I decided to test this bad boy out. Setting the unit to it's lowest point of 60 degrees, I sat right in front of the unit with the phone just below the Della logo and was able to get the following readings:Starting point: No air, just the window open to vent tube width 34-40 dbA/C low 51-55 db, medium 52-55 db and high 51-56 db. The compressor was noticeable, like the refrigerator kicking on.The Fan measured: low 45-49 db, medium 47-51 db and high 49-52 db.I then went and sat on the couch about 7 feet away (see photo) and ran the test again.A/C on low 44-47 db, medium 46-47 db and high 46-49 db.Fan on low 36-38 db, medium 39-41 and high 41-43 dbThe app gives level indicators of:30 db whisper40 db quiet library50 db quiet office60 db conversationFor receiving the item, I was told it would arrive Monday-Wednesday and it showed up early, on Saturday. The VERY THICK cardboard box had a slight indent in the middle, but nothing broke thru to the inside of the box so the unit was not damaged (YAY!). I received everything except weather stripping, but that is okay as I plan to insulate the window opening and window kit with foam board as the window it will be in gets the afternoon sun. It has been sitting upright for 6 days now before plugging it in and it immediately cooled in a/c mode.While writing this review I turned my movie back on and had to increase the volume from 10 to 13 to hear over the fan being on high in fan mode. Just now I put the fan to low and turned the tv back down to 10, which is normal volume for me.I hope this review was helpful as it was information I was looking for when I was shopping around. First off I want to give some praise to the OneBigOutlets customer service team; the package was a few days late and Amazon said the package was lost and that I should request a refund, so I did. The only problem was it wound up showing up a few days later. So I messaged them on here again explaining the situation and instead of charging me back they are allowing me to keep the product free of charge!! So yeah they definitely go above and beyond.As for the product itself, it is great. My apartment is about 600 sq ft and it cools the entire space very well and relatively quickly. The setup is super easy, literally just plug it in, screw the hose on and turn it on. The remote is a really nice touch as well so I don’t have to get up to control it. So yeah I have no complaints about this product.I did see a couple of other reviews complaining about a couple of things. I can say that my unit showed up brand new, no signs of use so i’m not sure how legitimate those are. And as for not being portable, I just want to know what’s more portable than something with wheels lol. All you have to do to move this around is lightly push and it will move in any direction with ease.I am 11/10 happy with this product and company and really couldn’t recommend them more.

I bought this product to replace a previous unit that quit after 4 years. This unit didnt work from the start, the self evaporator was malfunctioning, had to be emptied every 30 to 40 minutes. Contact the seller, who told me to email the manufacturer, which should have been a sign right off the bat. All the seller did was act as a middle man. They sent me a troubleshooting guide with 3 steps to fix, 1- empty the unit (duh), 2- internal valve is stuck and 3- replace the control board. This was what I was supposed to do after 3 days of having this unit. I was appalled, that I was to replace the control board and tear this thing apart to fix a complete malfunction. When I contacted them, the next thing was a return label. I ended up contacting amazon directly and showed them the poor service I received, they ended up refunding my money and told me to dispose of the unit. Beware of this seller, they are only a middle man and dump your problems on the manufacturer.

This air conditioner and heater unit definitely does the job for my master bedroom, however it is pretty noisy. Also, it arrived with some missing parts. Took a little while for me to find the contact information for the company. I did call however they have very limited customer service hours. I gave exact specifications for what parts were missing and never received those parts but I did receive other parts. I finally picked up some white duct tape and made it work that way. It's not as pretty looking of a connection as I would like but it does work, but it is pretty noisy.

I purchased this to replace a six year old HAIER model that stopped working. This unit cools remarkably well and much better than the HAIER model ever did. It’s quieter too! I do have some cons I don’t like listed below.I use this in a 1,200 square foot loft with 16’ ceilings.. It is vented through the fireplace (I had plastic inserts made to fit the exhaust hose and block the entire fireplace opening.) it cools the entire loft well.Cons:The remote doesn’t work well from too far, I use the remote from upstairs. The control panel is on the top of the unit and I can’t see settings from the front or sitting in the room. I have to get up to see settings.Pros: I DO like that I can see on the remote what settings I am programming into the unit. (Remote has a screen with all the settings and ability to change/adjust settings.)I was hesitant to buy, but I’d recommend this unit highly.

We have had our unit for 11.5 months and it went out... like dead and won't turn on. I contacted customer service and spoke with Brianna R! I like that I called the 800 number listed in the manual and an actual human picked up... no transferring me to other departments or anything. She listened to me, gave me clear directions on what to do and sent everything over in an email! They are sending me a brand new unit and it isn't costing me a dime. Thank you for the wonderful customer service. You have made a customer for life!
