The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is that I just recently purchased them. They fit nice, seem sturdy and appear to be as good as higher priced shoe trees. These are a good value for the money, I used one set of trees in a pair of Oxblood brogue boots. The trees went right in with zero problems. I ordered the XL set and the boots are size 12 UK and 12.5 in US. I purchased the boots online from England, Saville Row to be exact, they were on clearance and the only size happened to be my size. I was able to use a 20% off coupon and purchased two ties to reach $125 for free shipping. I am not implying that I am rich, far from it, I find a lot of deals on many products. My mother told my siblings to check with me before buying anything. In stores I would look through an entire rack of shirts listed as $ 20-$ 30 and find my size with a $5 price tag. Or the sale sticker would be on display and had to go back and show them the sticker, they would say that sale is over someone missed this. They have to give you the sale price, my best was at “yes a Walmart “ when my daughters were young and loved Disney princesses. I found an embroidered princess shirt with no tag and the cashier said I ring it up as .50, yes 50 cents. Sorry for the lengthy review

These could be improved. As it is, if the heal post is pushed all the way down to contact the inside sole it’s extremely difficult to remove. On some shoes there’s an interior lip around the inside top edge of the heal and the post of the shoe tree gets stuck beneath it. I’m size 11 and there wasn’t sufficient compression in the shoe tree to remove it without a struggle of epic proportions. There might have been had I the strength of Atlas but I don’t. So now I insert the heal post only to the point where it is flush with the back of the shoe, I don't push it completely down, then I can ensure it will always come out. In order to accommodate modern shoe design and the strength of aging humans, these shoes trees would benefit from better relief at the heal end, or perhaps longer spring travel. Otherwise they seem fine.

I wear a size 12 shoe and the first time I ordered these I mistakenly ordered a medium and they actually fit my dress shoes pretty good. The next time I ordered the actual size to fit my shoes, the XL. Well, they are so tight I can hardly get them out of my shoes. The grip on the back just doesn't do the trick. Plus, one of them came with the handle side partially broken off. I sanded it down so it wasn't so pointy. Looking at it, there was a natural line in the wood that broke off. I just ordered some with a strap on top which facilitates removing it from the shoe.

I’m impressed with these cedar shoe trees. They are made of very aromatic cedar. The sizing mechanism works well, and the left/right labels are clearly engraved in the wood. They are not quite as smooth as some shoe trees you might get for twice the price. But I will definitely order them again the next time I need a pair!

These fit well enough for my husband's dress shoes.He has a wide foot and this didn't expand as much as others but: toe to heel: it fits okay.The shape of the heel piece is easy to grab.They have a nice, earthy smell to them. Now that he isn't traveling as much, most of his dress clothes/shoes are relaxing in the closet. These shoe trees are making sure his $350 shoes are still getting some daily love.

Product received well packaged with a small wooden shoe horn (neat), a swatch of sandpaper for refreshing the cedar and a thank you note (nice). What stands out to me is the smoothness of the spring slide action. I've bought more expensive shoe trees and they jamb when trying to compress it into the shoe at certain angles. Will definitely buy again.

This is one of the best purchases you can make on Amazon. This is a great product at a fair price. I discovered shoe trees about 15 years ago and it doesn’t stop amazing me how they have extended the life of my leather shoes by probably 10 years. I have re-soled at least five pair due to the uppers being in such good shape.

This is a company that knows how to do the little, but meaningful touches with customer orders. Exempli gratia, I wasn’t expecting a tiny piece of supplementary sandpaper that can be used to periodically refresh the cedar smell of the trees. The overall quality is excellent—compared to the top men’s clothier in Toronto, Canada, pricing for this product is about twenty-five percent lower, the quality better, and the trees came without a bazaar-ready, plated, supplier brand affixed to them. As an area to improve, although the trees fit my shoes, they did so not “like a glove” as some past trees. Perhaps consider more sizing options. With that said, approach this idea with due diligence, as expanding the size options could inadvertently cause more people to pick unruly sizes.

I got a Medium set, and they *barely* fit into my Men’s 9.5 dress shoes. That said, they smell lovely and the fit and finish on them is nice. Similar build quality than my many years-old Moneysworth & Best pairs.

This was a great choice. Price was excellent for 2 pairs. Delivered in 4 days. Includes a small cedar shoe horn, some sandpaper, and a note from the company. Trees seem to be very high quality. Ordered a size XL based on their chart. Shoe size is 12M and I was worried they might be too big for the shoes, but they fit perfect. Highly recommended.

I have shoe tree from places like Allen Edmond (Combination Cedar) and similar. These hold their own - which is impressive - given these are 1/2 the price and fit nicely. I am a size 43 and ordered medium. I started with 2 and now i have 10 of these. Very happy with the product.

Very impressed by the product value and the speed of delivery (within 24 hours). Obviously a company that cares about great service. Bonus of a nice cedar shoe horn and a little sandpaper to keep the cedar always fresh. Top marks !!!
