Shearwater Rectangular Coffee Table Silver and Clear 701238

The coffee table is great. Looks like the picture, fits our room and looks nice. We also ordered the end table and sofa table and were not pleased with either one of them. Coaster doesn't seem to have their act together in doing quality work and we were disappointed with the other two items.We got lucky with the coffee table. On the other two items, the glass top did not line up with the base, so everything was off and not in alignment.I would not order from this company again because for what we paid, the workmanship should have been much better. I just have to tell our guests to take off their glasses before entering the room!

I've been looking for this style of table for a long time. "This style" meaning chrome/metal base and stand with a clear glass top, looking fairly modern and feeling sturdy and of good quality.I went through three others which either had poor workmanship, shipped with broken parts or looked and felt cheap before I reached this one. It shows off my custom chess set and the reading material I keep near my couch very well. The base is flat and can store a small quantity of items if you desire, and the top is sturdy - I had a friend fall on it shortly after I got it and expected it to break and shatter, but it merely tipped and held him.The price is comparable to others of its type, but the quality of this table is superior. Recommend buying if you like the look.

Received my table on time and most securely packed. Would have given it a five rating but think the glass is not as thick as I would have liked it to be. However it is a very attractive table and it was easily put together. I cannot complete this review without including the fabulous customer service I received from Ola at Furniture Creations. She was knowledgable, helpful and went over and beyond what a competent customer service representative would have done. Iwill recommend Furniture Creations to my friends and will certainly use them again.

I love the looks of this table. However, quality control is nonexistent. The table arrived with the disks not attached to the glass and covered in glue. It looked like the glass top had been shipped before the glue dried. The seller did not want the top returned but sent another glass top. This one was intact but still had glue on the glass. The glass is also cloudy in many spots and cannot be cleaned. The glue may is as hard as glass (it may be apoxy resin) and nothing I tried will take it off. I have been in touch with the seller via email for months and they said they have contact Coaster, but am still waiting for them to tell me how to get the glue off or resolve this situation in some way.

We love the table. I gave it 4 stars because it took 3 deliveries to get it right. The first table top was completely shattered. The second table top was in one piece but the two silver disks were not permanently affixed to mount the top to the stand. The third table top was perfect...This table was a housewarming gift and is now being enjoyed, is functional and looks great.

Received in about a week, but the base had a damaged corner. Emailed them and got a new base in 3 days. Really excellent seller ( Home & Living inc.). Table is very easy to assemble and feels really solid (unlike my previous table that cost me right around the same price). And lastly, this table just looks really nice in a modern condo.

After long time of waiting, the the top glass came broken at the corner. It’s clearly that the table was returned before because I didn’t find the broken piece inside the box! I am returning it !!

We really like this table but it happened. Here is the story:My wife and I spent hours on the weekend to open the 2 boxes of the order, and cleanup the dangerous pieces of glass that poured out from a just open small corner of one box. We immediately contacted Amazon and was arranged for a return pickup, according to local regulations as my city; perhaps state of MA requires disposing hazardous materials, with fees at special disposal centers.It is a huge safety issue and inconvenience that as a US consumer we feel we should not be subjected to.
