CBTONE 1/32"- 5/8" Heavy Duty Drill Chuck with Chuck Key and MT2 Shank

The toolmanship on this looks well made & the chuck operates smoothly & the drill bit size range lives up to it'sclaim & may even go a little below 1/32" which is pretty amazing even though it's not much need to use a bit thatsmall in a drill press. I bought this to replace the chuck on my drill press which had run out pretty visible by thenaked eye so that was my main concern. Using a dial indicator & a center punch in place of a drill bit I tested thetotal run out at the center punch about 1/8" down from the chuck jaws at just a hair under .002" & at the end ofthe center punch (about 3" down from the chuck jaws) to be right at or a fudge under .005". These readings aretotal peak to peak. There is no visible run out & a huge improvement over my old chuck which interestinglymeasured the same at the base of the chuck jaws but at the end of the center punch measured near .02".I didn't want to take a chance on spending top dollar on a replacement chuck in case my spindle was the maincause of run out. I'm very happy with the results of this purchase!

I am going to use this with my wood lathe but have not yet. Seems to be good quality. I have not check if it is off center yet or by how much. Hopefully it will be within .005
