Milk Frother Electric Hand Held

OK, you're reading this for one of three reasons: 1. Your model just like this with the plastic hub vibrated it self into 2 pieces...and yet still runs, just without the whisk to torment you. 2. You used a friend's like this and had to get one. 3. You want a decent milk frother and are doing your due diligence. You're in luck on any of the three. This is the one you want, just order it if you're in a hurry...or read why if you have 2 minutes:I had a similar, and similarly generic (everybody sells these now - success has many fathers) earlier model of this and instantly became of the opinion that these things are like cell phones - you can't remember what you did before you got one, and really don't want to be reminded by being without one again.The earlier model, while being amazing and powerful had a couple irritating design flaws. The first flaw was that at low power, the head had a wobble 90% of the time. I got used to it, but realize now, that the wobble set it up to fail at the plastic hub...which apparently was also the source of the wobble in the first place. This one has a metal hub and doesn't wobble. The second earlier flaw was that the 2 speed power switch was in an OFF-HIGH-LOW configuration that made you pass through HIGH on the way to LOW. This was significant since the LOW setting is what I and most of you likely will use 95% of the time. I use it as an extremely convenient stirrer on LOW much, much more often than as a frother or mini blender on HIGH. Sometimes, and I mean WAY too often, the switch wouldn't get pushed far enough, fast enough and the frother would activate in a cup or glass on HIGH, with dramatic results! Not the kind of thing that makes for a good morning before that first cup of coffee. Imagine running a blender in a cup of coffee, or small powdery shake and the scene is a familiar one to the owners of the previous model. It's that powerful. This updated model has the switch in a MUCH more useful and mess avoiding OFF-LOW-HIGH configuration. Thank you engineers.So, you want this model and at the time I wrote this, the one on this page had the best price. These things change, but that's why I bought here since many vendors are selling similar ones. Just watch out for that little black plastic hub version.Another tip is use rechargeable batteries...seriously. All that power isn't a free ride and it'll go through AA batteries faster than you'd like, but for some reason the rechargeables run it strong and long and become very cost effective considering the amount of use this little dude gets. This tip will pay for the frother and is my gift to you for getting this far. You're welcome. :) Enjoy!

If it continues to work the way it works now, I will give it five stars. This is not plastic, it is heavy, it is metal, it is well built. The best one I have ever bought. The others look like toys. This one looks like a real kitchen appliance, because it is.One thing I would add to it would be a holder. I wish they could sell it apart. I would buy it.

After carefully reading all the reviews on Amazon, I chose this product and I'm happy to say it's great! This is my first frother, so I can't say whether it's more or less powerful than others, but it does exactly what I bought it for. I make bulletproof coffe with MCT oil and cultured, unsalted butter. I have to use a larger mug than usual or the liquid quickly rises to the rim and spills over, especially at high power. I've developed the technique of frothing at low speed for about 15 seconds to develop a nice froth, then powering up for 2-3 seconds to finish. I've served it to friends and they all say, "Yummy."

Works well

I’ve been using this frother to stir my coffee for many years, and now I find that it’s perfect for stirring my Energy Boosting Greens Powder. The powder is very fine and can be hard to dissolve, but this frother does the trick! Also... switching between the two speeds is very easy, so I don’t make a mess!

I have never used a Milk Frother before and this one did just as promised! I was so excited to whip the heated milkto make my coffee so rich and delicious! I can't wait to show it to my daughters, I know they are going to love itwhen we meet for coffee. The weight is solid and the whip works great. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Perfect for bullet proof coffee. I am using it every day. I measure the coffee I want and add my 3 T of various healthy oils/fat and then pour into a larger plastic bottle and whir it up. I like the high speed. Thank you!

The one I received didn't work no matter how many different batteries I tried. It was returned.
