They can be made to work properly on Toyota, but it takes some effort
I used these on a Toyota to replace some old cracked marine style terminals someone had installed along the way. I won't mark these down in the ratings since they are not Toyota specific, but it did take some effort to make them work. The negative terminal is fine out of the box. On the positive terminal, you'll need to remove the too small 6 mm bolt and replace it with an 8 mm bolt. A square head bolt is best; perhaps reused from your old terminals. I had one left over from a starter solenoid rebuild kit. Two little tabs hold the bolt in place, but they are easy to bend back. If you use a hex head bolt, you'll need to fasten the wires to the terminal, before putting the terminal on the battery, so that you can hold the bolt head from spinning. There's a little tab of metal behind the terminal stud that sticks up, and it will keep your wire ends from sitting flush. Those are easy to file or snip off. Other than that, they work fine. Is it worth the effort to save 12 bucks compared to the Toyota part numbers available through Amazon (PN 90982-05035 positive and 90982-06022 negative)? No, not really; if you can wait for the Toyota parts. Otherwise, consider these.

DIdn't fit my Toyota, but the quality is good so I'm keeping it anyway.
I purchased this pair of battery terminals for my 2000 4runner, but found that the threaded stud was the wrong diameter on the +side terminal. In my Toyota, the positive terminal is supposed to have the larger bolt diameter, but the + terminal in this kit has a small bolt diameter and results in a sloppy and inadequate fit to the cables. I give the product a decent rating because it is obviously well made and I would use it if it had indeed fit my car. This is a good value considering it was not expensive. I'm keeping my set as a spare in case another car needs a new terminal.

Excellent for Toyota & Hyundai...
Excellent. I work road service for AAA & a huge part of our daily work includes installing new batteries. Toyota & Hyundai vehicles are the most common with a modular type terminal setup. I keep a ton of these on hand to quickly & properly repair cars on-the-go. Great price, excellent quality, & gold compatibility with many manufacturers.

Good OEM replacement!
Very good OEM-quality replacement for Japanese cars ... the Negative bracket is slightly smaller (like most of the OEM brackets out there) than the Positive one by 2 mm, but could be expanded to fit the Positive battery post if needed. Note: this set is OEM replacement for KIA/Huyndai but will fit Toyota Corolla/Camry/Avalon/etc (remove/replace with original bolt for a perfect fit).

Good enough to get by. Nothing more than that.
These barely do the job. They fit the posts, but the hardware is on the wrong side for my Toyota Sienna; the positive terminal cover won't fit now. The mounting bolts don't fit my OEM nuts. Had to go to the hardware store to buy replacements. Would have purchased alternates if I'd have been aware of these issues before I ordered.

Top quality and fit perfectly
Don't mess around cleaning corroded battery terminals if your car or truck uses this original equipment type. Typically you'd change these when you are putting a new battery in and you see how bad your current terminals are. Don't cut your cable ends off and put those universal ones on that come on a card at the auto parts counter. These are top quality and fit perfectly.

What a find ... fit my Toyota Echo like a glove.
What a find !!! Needed to replace my badly corroded 2003 Toyota Echo battery terminal. I couldn't quite swallow $25-$35 for one Toyota 90982-05053 Positive Battery Terminal. This one "looked" the same and other reviewers mentioned they had used it for different makes and models. So true. Fit my Echo like a glove (including the threads for my OEM nut) and MUCH better quality than I could ever get at the local auto parts store. And, I now have a spare. The consumer wins this round. Very pleased.

Fit Hyundai Sonata
This fit a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. We had called a dealer and they thought the only way to get the battery clamp was to order it with a new cable/wire as well. This fit and only time will tell how it holds up. The only noticeable difference is that the bolt on it was flipped but not an issue.
