The pros and the cons
The media could not be loaded. Ok- since I have used Archer & Olive black out bullet journals from the time they came out. Maybe I am a bit biased. I also make scrapbooks from hand, as well as junk journals, the first thing to make me absolutely annoyed! Why use white thread in a black page journal??? Secondly, the back pocket, I can already I’ll likely have to reinforce to make more sturdy, but bc I know how to do those things and have the proper materials it’s not a big deal for me- for others it might be. The pen loop, and the spacing between the back pocket kinda make the book look cheaply made. The pages aren’t bad, I can’t speak on any bleed thru but I rarely experience that when using black paper of any kind (especially with white gel pens, depending on the paper I may not fully color in a box, but just give it a scribble/shading.All in all, I have been crazy busy and I didn’t order my 2022 bujo, I have my travelers notebooks where I use dot grid or graph paper, I have a Stalogy! And I have several other journals. (I love my notebooks and stationery- I’m a paper crafter! We all have a ton of notebooks!!!) so I really couldn’t wait until after the holidays since I’m already behind on how I set it up (ocd lol can’t help it!) I decided to go with this one, over the other one I saw on here that was the only contender- I’m kind of surprised Amazon doesn’t have a much larger selection of these) I will use this for it’s intended purpose, but I doubt I’d buy it again. However I am used to a specific standard, I do a lot in my journals and planners other then write, I may decide to add a collage of a day I had with my family on vacation. It depends. So plenty of stickers, vellum, washi, will be used in this. Not thinking that the cover is blue, and my washi for black pages is mainly metallics and black and gold. The colored metallics will work. But I’m not so sure how long this will hold up. And why the white thread in a black out notebook!!!But for those of you who are not me which is the majority. You’ll love it… I just happen to be used to looking for certain things that I know I will eventually have to fix or reinforce. The white thread lol I’ll likely go over with a black sharpie!!! I’m that OCD!!!! Lol but that is my issue! It’s a lovely book. I’m just a creature of habit when it comes to the blackout notebooks I suppose. Bc I purchase tons of journals from many different sellers or books stores. I do have certain ones that I favor, but the whole point for me is to find something new and the cover on this is what drew me in… since I have the same black notebooks for several years now I have all of the designs from A&O!It’ll definitely do the job, and I’ll need another one anyhow. Bc I will use this one probably as a tarot journal (I read tarot for over 25 years, but it’s a lifelong journey so I do still journal about new things I am learning or if reading myself. I journal my readings to look back on them) it’s a shame people don’t make these for travelers notebooks!!! I’d maybe be able to have 3 journals with sections as opposed to like 6!! Lol.All in all, I am satisfied, but I think it could be improved for the price, for $6 more I would’ve just waited for an A&O and started it a bit late. I depend on these reviews as a consumer, and I do prefer photos and videos so I hope this helps. But remember- I am nit picky! If you’re just looking for a decent blackout journal or maybe it’s your first one, you won’t be disappointed. I’m not at all. I just am used to what I’ve been using like I said. But it is a pretty journal. A bit of the gilded pages came a teenie bit worn off already. However that is inevitable. So why complain!!! If you’re not used to one thing, I’d say go for it!!

Gorgeous and very well made...
This journal is of excellent quality - the cover is beautiful with colors of pink and purple, the black pages are thick and dark (they are VERY black in color) , there is a nice pocket inside the back cover, and the dot grid is easily visible but not overly bright. Grab a white jelly roll pen along with some metallic gel pens and enjoy the beauty of this journal!

Great quality
Great quality paper. I like the gold accents throughout the design. I like that it has the elastic band to keep it closed, keeps the paper from swelling overtime. The pen holder is really handy also. I even bought myself a second notebook for down the road

Love it! Only one complaint/con.
Before purchasing this bullet journal, naturally I looked through the images and seen the photo with the variety of peg/brush testings. (Btw, I have quite a few of blackout journals!) I only have the Sakura collection pens out of all the pens and brushes that their image advertises. All looked beautiful but the Gelly Roll Stardust did not show very well, especially not as good as shown in their image, which was one of the more bigger reasons I purchased this journal and the only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars: but aside that con, I love it and have no regrets getting this journal!

Get it! It’s beautiful
The rose gold lined pages are a nice touch and the cover is very smooth! The black pages are the best part for any metallic gelly roll pens
