Great shapeware
I love this! I ordered the tank top one with adjustable straps. It looks like great quality. No funny smell, in fact it smells kind of pleasant. It has a grippy texture on the outside that I LOVE! I've been having issues with my leggings falling down and my tighter shirts riding up. Not anymore! Some people have mistakingly thought the boning was plastic because it is flexible. As a lingerie seamstress, I can tell you it is spiral steel boning which is the best (and highest quality) boning available. It is not plastic. It does not warp or crease like plastic boning does (I can't buy cheep corsets for that reason. They always end up creasing where my waist flares to my hips and dig into me). Spiral steel bones are flexible and bend to move with you but do not pinch or crease and they return to their original shape when you take it off.Sizing:Don't go based off others height and weight measurements... We all carry our weight very differently... I am 5'3" and weigh 185 right now with a post baby tummy. I'm built a little thicker but I don't look very fat like my weight would suggest. I wear large size shirts and my pant size is 8-10. My measurements are: Full bust-44" Under bust-33" Waist-36" Hips-43" Bra size-32-34J depending on the brand (that's 7-8 D's to those unaware of huge boob sizes). As my poochy baby tummy is 36", that puts me at XXXXL. That sounded too big so I ordered a XXXL. I could have easily gone with a XXL if I wanted to waist train. The XXXL I have though is snug enough to smooth my midsection beautifully while being comfortable enough to wear all day every day. It's comfortable shapeware that doesn't roll or ride up or down.My only complaint is the straps don't fit smoothly against the side of my breasts, which doesn't surprise me because my boobs are huge and my rib cage and underbust is quite small. If I were wider or had a bigger rib cage (as my larger size would normally imply) the straps would lie flat. As they are, they make a little triangle that pokes out and shows under my clothes. I just folded them into a dart that lies flat against my breasts and tacked it down on my sewing machine.

Size up!
I'm doing this review after returning it and reordering A LOT because after reading a lot of reviews and Q&A's I noticed most people said to size down. DO NOT and I mean, DO NOT SIZE DOWN (unless you're wearing it out to go out and you're expecting a specific figure temporarily). BUT... if you're expecting to use it on a daily basis and/or workout either size up 1 or 2 sizes. For example, my mother wears 2XL and she got a 4XL. It's great for exercising and keeping your back straight. At first we ordered a size Large but it was SUPER TIGHT and we couldn't even close it. My mom couldn't even breathe trying to put it on. So we tried an XL and even then it couldn't close, and finally decided to order a 4XL (2 sizes bigger than her regular clothes size). This one was the right size and now she LOVES it! This waist trainer holds everything in, straightens her back, and it's breathable! She can finally move around with one and even do her daily workouts with it on.Moral of the story, size up (1 or 2 sizes from your regular size)!

Order your shirt size. This review is for the "vest" type with straps over the shoulder.
I bought one of these at a bargain bin place and literally wore it until it fell apart. (Two years or more of 12 hour shifts) I wear it for my lower back and for posture. The tag was beyond recognition so it took nearly 4 months for me to find the brand. When I did I couldn't remember what size the first one was so I followed the size guide and ordered an XXL. I needed an XL so I returned it and got this one. This is by far the best one I've ever used (and I've used several) and I will absolutely be ordering another and another. It is steel boning, holds everything in place and keeps your posture well. Order your actual shirt size, I wear a L/XL shirt, 178lbs at 5'3" and it's not too long on my torso. Wear a tank underneath to keep from sweating a lot and chafing and wash by hand once a week. This is a FANTASTIC product!!
