Balios Prestige Travel Umbrella, Wood Handle, Auto Open & Close, Designed in UK

I thought I was imaging something the first time water dripped on my face, underneath this umbrella, in a straight downwards downpour. The third time, I swiped my hand across the inside of the umbrella, and confirmed that the entire underside of the umbrella had become wet, AFTER I opened it. I tested it out at home with a hose, to confirm against my skepticism of the existence of a non waterproof umbrella, and INDEED.I bought some 3M waterproofing spray, gave the umbrella several coats and I have enjoyed it ever since. Y'all get three stars for it being very cute, and sturdy.

I purchased 3 of these and really love them. The mechanism for auto release is very good and I love the print. I have not experienced poor water resistance as posted by other reviewers. The only draw back for me would be the lack of string/rope on the handle. I am used to handing my umbrella from my wrist when toting around other bags.

I love this umbrella. I've had it for three years now. The design is amazing. The button pops it fully open for you and pressing it again collapses the top so you can slide it back and lock it in place. The constellations are really cute it's like walking under your own night sky. Unfortunately, I left my beloved umbrella in a classroom and it was stolen. This umbrella was so great I had to buy it again.

This is a really really amazing umbrella. Possibly one of the most useful things I’ve ever bought! It’s so functional because the click-to-retract feature is so great when you’re running into a car or bus and you just need to get in fast but also retract your umbrella but also not get wet. It’s large enough to safely cover two people and small enough to take everywhere. On top of that, it’s a absolutely beautiful with the constellation design. Amazing!

I have only had it for a few storms, but it is the right size and has a wonderful constellation pattern on the inside. I really like the button to open AND close, which makes getting into/out of a car way easier. My only complaint is that the constellation names are facing away from the middle, so you have to reverse the handle/not use the grip. But really, if that's the biggest problem with an umbrella, it's probably a pretty good umbrella.

Love my umbrella! It's compact and the button to open and close the umbrella works fantastically. The only issue is that the wood handle makes the umbrella heavier than desired for ultra light travel, but it is excellent in heavy rain and the diameter is small enough to be functional to use on crowded NYC streets. I received a lot of compliments my first day on the constellation pattern on the underside of the umbrella. I would recommend this umbrella for sure for people who are looking for higher quality.

I love everything about this and was actually pleasantly surprised how well the size turned out to be exactly how I wanted. But the metal rod wobbles just ever so slightly where I have to put my thumb on it while grasping the bottom portion with the other fingers. I wish that didn't happen and it actually made me think about buying another product instead... But ever since I've thrown caution to the wind and let it free over the past 3 rainfalls, the top hasn't flown away since. Fingers crossed :)

Love it! Beautiful handle, color scheme goes well with the top of the umbrella, and I love the underside of the umbrella! It doesn't look cheesy because the top of the umbrella is still a normal navy, but the underside is fun to look at, especially when using it in the rain at night! I find myself looking at the stars in the night sky to see if they match my umbrella.
