These are wonderful for protecting young plants from rabbits and the Spring elements. People who are complaining about these being too flimsy don't know how or where to use them. Back in the 1950's this was all we had to protect young plants - they worked great then and they work great now. I was really happy to see they are still available. They keep moisture and warmth in for early planting, allowing just enough sunlight for plant growth. The plants I covered grew a lot faster and stronger than the ones I didn't. I'll be able to reuse some of them next year!

Essentially wax paper with some folding to make them domed. You're paying purely for the time saved Diy here.

Wanted to love this - they worked okay, so they're not awful. They staying in place mostly, but after a few weeks got really soft, so it was hard to look under them to see how the plants were doing and then replace them. They did keep critters from eating my early shoots, so that was good.

Wow! was that fast! I had checked every place I could think of in our town for these caps, and nobody had them. As usual, I resorted to Amazon, and Voila! Two days later, the Cukes are tucked in under my caps. What service. the caps are as good as any I ever used, and the delivery broke all records. I'm a happy gardener.

I buy these every year for my squash plants. It holds in the heat and keeps out the slugs. I recommend these.

I am disappointed with the quality of these hotkaps. Very flimsy. I do not recommend them.

these are wax paper. and used to cost less than 10 cents. who are you kidding with this kind of mark up.
