Your camera will run for a very long time now
I love my FZ1000, it's a decent all in one that can take great pics and 4K video. But it's measly 1700mah batteries can mean when trying to setup or do longer videos you start running low.No more will that be an issue for me. This kit allows you to use a USB-C PD charger or powerbank to run the camera. Included in the box you get:- FZ1000 Dummy Battery- USB-C to Barrel Jack Step up converter- 18w PD Charger (unexpected bonus)- Instruction pamphletSetup is quick and easy, pop the dummy battery into your camera, make all the connections and off you go. Running it off my 20000mah 65w PD powerbank it only draws about 3w in still mode with the screen on. This means that I can run it for an age off the powerbank if I can't use the mains. For those looking to use the FZ1000 (or other DMW-DCC8 battery model) for longer content, photshoots, landscapes and such this is ideal. My powerbanks has three outputs and with such a low wattage draw for the camera, there is plenty of room for running lights and mic's off the same powerbank.

Great to use with a V-Mount battery
This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it.Physically, it appears to be a well-made cable. It has a robust feel, and a good amount of length. The ‘dummy’ battery fit inside my Panasonic G80 with no issues.I tested it out by connecting it to my V-Mount battery, as I would like to be able to continuously shoot video without worrying about running out of charge. I was able to power the camera by connecting the cable to a USB-C socket on the battery. I did not notice any overheating or performance issues. I like that the DC to USB-C converter provides me with more power options, and the included wall plug is also handy to have.Overall, a good value item.
