The perfect BLOKS flavor for running or biking
I first found these during a Disney Marathon in Florida. I found the flavor was perfect for me, not cloyingly sweet, not puckeringly sour. I don't chew them, just rest them in my cheek as I run and I can get them to last a good long while. I sweat A LOT when I run and I find these really help me from getting too dehydrated. It seems like CLIF had stopped making this flavor for a while, and none of the others really worked for me, so when I saw these available again, I bought an entire box.

No mess!
They're not messy like gels, aren't like cardboard like many bars, no mixing like drink powders. Just slip 'em in your pocket and suck on one when a hill looms or when cramps come on (if you haven't kept them at bay by using before that). The margarita flavor is tasty and acts faster than others due to the higher sodium level. On a long climb when it's hard to drink, they keep your mouth from feeling dry while gradually releasing electrolytes. (I don't usually give 5 stars but I can't think of a reason not to in this case.)

Delicious, and they work!
I was introduced to these chews on the trail when one of the hikers started getting into heat exhaustion. Another hiker had these along in her pack, and gave one to the struggling hiker, who was able to continue after a few minutes and finished the hike. She gave me a margarita-flavored one to try as well, and they're scrumptious!

Very convenient
I have low blood pressure and keep these on hand. I'll eat 2 bloks (1/3 of a package) when I get dizzy and I quickly feel bit better. The texture is nice and the taste is decent.

Convenient recovery aid
These were recommended to me by my friend who is an ultramarathoner who also holds a degree in nuclear chemistry, and works as a medical dean in clinical research. In other words, she knows what she is talking about. She recommended that I eat one block for every mile as a recovery snack for a half marathon I was doing. I use it whenever I do road races of any length at about that pace.These days, I do more hot yoga than anything, and I have one block before, and also sometimes one after. Greatly helps with my ability to recover and think straight for my day. I am a massage therapist of 20 years, so I need to be physically ready for a long day as well as able to think clearly so I don’t hurt anyone.The flavors are great, although I don’t do the ones with caffeine. I like the salty ones when I have sweated way more than I should. The Mountainberry is my other favorite, as the strawberry is a little sweet.

Lemon Dawn
These blocks taste like Lemon scented Dawn dish soap. Yes, that sounds terrible but they work. They have substantially more sodium so they're nice for hot rides where you sweat a lot. I usually eat one or two of the blocks from a pack during a ride, so each pack lasts several rides. The blocks themselves are small gummy squares, easy to eat quickly to get past the taste and taken in quickly by your system. If you dont need the sodium but want a fast action gummy or gel try a different flavor. Maybe pick up an individual package from your local shop to try out the flavor.

Perfect for Long Runs
The media could not be loaded. Im a salty sweater and these chews are just what I need to get through my 10+ mile long runs without getting a headache after. Highly recommended.
