Great little tool
I been hunting a leak for 6 months with an electronic leak detector in my a/c system. Electronic detectors couldn’t locate it. Using ultrasound detector I located the leak in 5 minutes.Great tool for the price.

Does not work for vacuum bagging
I purchased for checking leaks in vacuum bags for the composites industry. Did not pick up leaks.

Leak detector was a great tool
The first detector I received had the label applied upside down so that all the LEDS were covered up! So much for quality control. I pealed off the label and re-oriented it properly and was able to use it ok. The adhesive was now weak, so I returned it for a new one.The detector worked ok, though I had to learn how to best use it since the settings were somewhat quirky. Once I learned the best setting, I did find the leak I was looking for. Like any tool that senses noise, metal, humidity, etc under/in solid objects, it takes understanding of the limitations and a learning curve to use it effectively.

Works Well!
This is being used to test for leaks in diesel fuel tanks. Recently I lent it to a friend who was having a problem with CO getting into the cockpit of his airplane. He was able to use this tool to find the leaks and even used it as he was putting new seals on the doors to make sure the seals were in the proper place.
