TEKBeauty Gift Box - Short Hair Styling Set - Made in Italy

I wanted to use this awhile before reviewing to see if it’s really worth the price. I would say no. I have long hair so I let my hubby use the brush; I used the comb.The package is unique and would make a nice gift if the person wanted one of these brand named brushes.I currently use a Wet brush and a forty year old Vidal Sassoon plastic brush that was my mother’s! I’d be embarrassed to show anyone because of the cracked hardened rubber but I secretly love to use it and won’t throw out til every bristle falls out (which none have) Sorry but things don’t have to be expensive to work really well.Anyway back to the Tek brush. The quality is so so, the wood on the comb has some splinters poking out. I don’t feel like it’s sanded or finished between the teeth. It’s better than a plastic comb to stimulate the scalp but I find it kinda rough on hair. My husband thought bristles had already fallen out of the brush but it was just the holes for air release in the cushion base.I didn’t find anything spectacular about the comb or brush that would warrant the price. 3.5 stars

Tec Beauty Gift Box…📚 I have to say, the Box is beautiful! Simple and classy all at the same time. But, you're not buying this set for the box.📚 The brush and the comb are absolutely beautiful, gorgeous in appearance and quality. I use a brush more than I use a comb, this brush is super comfortable to use!📚 Everything looked a little lost in this giant Box. It truly is overkill! And why do they include a scrunch in a scrunchy in a gift box that is labeled for short hair? I'm confused lol📚 Summary... the packaging is way over the top and excessive. The box is way too big for what's included inside and the amount of money spent on the packaging itself is probably part of why this set is so expensive. About that price, why is this so expensive? These are quality products but they're worth about a 3rd of this price and they could skip the excess of packaging.

It's a beautiful comb and brush set, but the price is too high. The box is clunky, twice the size it needs to be, and doesn't close properly so it would not make a good gift. The scrunchie is just rough, stiff, and plain. I'm kind of afraid to use the comb and the brush for fear of breaking the teeth on tangles. They're not like my sandalwood comb that just feels unbreakable. What I do love about these is the fact that they're not adding more plastic into the environment.

These are well made. I have shoulder length hair & both the brush & comb work well. The “teeth” are polished smooth & they feel good in the hand. The mirror is good quality – I could do without the cheesy saying but it is a good little mirror for my purse. The cotton scrunchie is a typical scrunchie. The set comes with a cotton storage bag but I will probably never use it because these are going in my vanity drawer to be used every day.The brush & comb can be washed with soap & water – I always use a shampoo to do this. When they are wet, make sure to put them somewhere w/plenty of air circulation so they dry fully.The set comes in an ecological, corrugated box. I like that they use no plastic. It makes a nice hand made presentation.TEK is an Italian company that has been making wood brushes since 1977 in Italy. They state on their website “TEK’s products are 100% hand-made in Italy”. They also make brushes/combs for other companies that put their own brand name on them (“Private Label”).

Like the natural look of this set from items to packaging. Nice wooden set. Looks well made and natural. It includes a wooden brush, large wooden comb, and wooden mirror, and a large scrunchy. It comes in a nice cardboard box that looks like it was made to give as a gift although all the inner dividers in the one I received came out of place.The brush and comb are made well and have large smooth rounded bristles that is gentle and soothing on my scalp. They are easy on my hair and comfortable to use. They also look nice enough to have out on my counter. The small mirror is small enough to stick in a purse or bag. The scrunchies has more of a pretty natural bulky look in a canvas like material. The items are lightweight.Made in Italy.Beautiful set just a bit pricey.
