CHH 18" Brown and White Backgammon Set

For the price this was a great set . Not a superior set if you are looking for top top quality , but this is very good quality for what I paid . Doesn't look cheaper chintzy all the stitching is well done . It is super large . Larger than I thought it would be . I like that a lot . If you're looking for something to take with you when you travel and/or just for casual play this is a great board . All the hinges and the handle seems very sturdy . I don't have anything negative to say about the board . Should be a great board for kids and teenagers . You're serious player and want a high-quality board , you should buy something in the higher price range . All in all though I'm very happy and will use this board for years to come .

Wonderful backgammon set! It's a little larger, perfect for table top game play. It also folds and packs nicely so that it can travel. It appears to have a double knight fabric as the base with the faux leather sewn on top for the points on the actual board. The chips or checkers are smooth and fit nicely together on the board. There is a visible area on the bar for hit chips to reside before reentering.It includes the cups, dice and doubling cube, as well as a little booklet of history and instruction game play. I didn't read through as I knew already how to play. The cups may be somewhat fragile, as they seem to not be made from a stiff material, but one that could be bent if squeezed to hard, so be careful on that note with the cups.The outside is covered in the faux leather, and has the white and black stripes running down the middle, adding a nice contrast to the brown exterior. The latches allow it to lock tight, and the handle is great for carrying. I'd recommend this board to anyone if they love backgammon, want to learn, or have the space for a large travel board. I've already played forty games or so, breaking it in and it's been wonderful.

I bought this one because it's one of the biggest (18") I could find. Except for the larger size, it is identical in materials and quality that these boards have been made with for decades. I have no complaints and believe it is a good value.

Affordable backgammon set. Bought it to play with my 12 year old. Fun fast paced game. Decent quality for a beginner board.

This set was much larger than I imagined. It was also nice looking. I am very pleased with my purchase. Also, it got here the next day.

Not fancy but for a value set it is way better than expected and is holding up well with heavy use. Good weight on the playing pieces too.

My parents have a real leather backgammon board that I fondly remember my entire life playing games with. This one looks exactly like it, but with fake leather. I was very pleased with this as a gift I bought for my friend. It's good quality, it arrived on time, and the smaller size is good for traveling. The larger size will be more comfortable for table play. The only negative thing is that when I opened the box the first time to gift wrap it, the fake leather has a horrible smell. So I let it air out over night before I gift wrapped it. That seemed to help the gross, plastic like smell to go away.

Like anything today you get what you pay for, on that note this set is very well made and good looking also. This is well worth the money.

I purchased this for my sons Christmas gift. So happy for the high quality and beauty of the product. Would recommend.
