Q: Will this fit a legend t-552 outdoor faucet (not the t-550)?

Yes! This is the correct one for the T-552. I made the mistake of ordering a different replacement for the T-550,which did not fit. This one comes with multiple sizes and styles, one of which replaces the T-552.

Q: There has to be a way to simply eliminate the anti-siphon feature on these spigots. Perhaps a type of pipe plug that would fit into the top instead?

I guess it is possible to bypass the anti-siphon feature, but I’m pretty sure that it’s against code as well as dangerous as contaminated water could be introduced into the house water system.

Q: Does it fit asse 1019 (no -a)?

I don't know that for sure, but you get two valves in the package and for the price you pay it might be worth the try 🤷🏼♂️

No, I think that I had to buy two sets. They only lasted through one Mich winter, & now they leak again.
