Good mid-point cutter, but not without faults.
Although this is probably overkill for my personal kitchen, I like having good quality equipment that will last a long time, so for a new pizza cutter, I was torn between a similar looking and designed one that cost 2x and this one. I went with this one because it was half the price with all metal parts.I've only had a week or so, so I haven't gotten much use out of it yet. Initial impressions/observations:Pros:++ Screw & bolt design -- allows for disassembly for cleaning, repair, adjustment, etc.++ All the parts appear to be stainless, including the screw, bolt, washers, and bushing.++ The bolt is a locknut type so it shouldn't loosen on it's on over time.++ Out of the box, the blade is sharp.Cons:-- One of the bulleted specs is "will not wobble", well, when I received the cutter, it wobbled worse than any low-priced cutter I've ever seen. Basically, the bolt was not tightend enough to eliminate the wobble, but adjustment was one of the reasons I purcahsed it, so I got to adjust it.-- While adjusting, there seems to be a balance point between wobble and smoothness. Too tight where there's almost no wobble, the cutter won't roll. Too loose where the cutter will roll smoothly, and a little wobble comes back. (Don't get me wrong, the wobble is still minimal.)-- Once adjusted to my liking, there is one spot where the cutter binds just slightly, but still rolls through. I believe this due to the metal washers and them not being perfectly flat. The higher cost cutter uses plastic ("friction reducing") washers, that probably eliminate this problem, so I understand why they went with plastic instead of metal washers. I'm hoping that the metal washers will "break-in" and it will smooth out, but I'm considering checking out a hardware store to see if I can find sutiable plastic washers to swap the metal ones.-- Since there is friction between the washer and blade, I noticed that the washers are scoring the blade where they touch. I don't think this will cause a problem, but freshly scored metal could allow rust. We'll see how that goes, but I am doing a little preventive maintenance by giving it a shot of food-grade silicone lubricant after washing.-- I put the cutter in the dishwasher when I first received it and there was rust between the screw head and the washer when I took it out. Since there are different types of stainless, I'd wonder if the alloys are slightly different and there is some small galvonic corrosion going on between these two parts. Again, maybe a reason to have plastic washers.All-in-all, it appears like a decent cutter.

A simple tool done right
A pizza wheel is something you can get from the dollar store, thrift store, or in a kit (such as with a pizza peel or stone), but sadly most of these are just not that good. All are fine in a pinch, but regular use tends to weed out the lesser wheels. We eat homemade pizza a lot (like 1-1.5 times a week), and we also do some baking and other tasks that can benefit from a wheel. This has seen lesser wheels rust, fall apart, and become hard to clean (those were always hard to clean, but the issue became more apparent in time). This doesn't rust, comes in just the right size, and it can disassemble as needed, but stays together otherwise. All make this a wheel I can recommend

The last pizza cutter you'll ever buy
This pizza cutter isn't fancy or stylish but it's utility and durability are the best you'll find. A good pizza cutter is a not so well known multitaker that can cut brownies and pastries as well as pizza. This one has a large blade, comfortable ergonomic handle, and the side position of the blade let's you get more leverage than center mounted blades. Best of all its a single piece that you can easily throw in the washer. This one will last foreverCan't say the same for others. Those hand held ones seem like a good idea and I've owned three of them. The reason is because the little plastic rod that holds the blade assembly in place is not going to stand up to frequent opening and closing. So your options are either don't open it and let food and water get trapped creating a breading ground for bacteria or dissasemble the three parts and wait till the rod snaps off. Or you could skip the fancy design and go with something that works.

Nothing is worse than ripping open drawers while buzzed out of your mind trying to find the damn pizza cutter when you are craving a piece of that juicy Calzone! It is always such a chore shopping for the perfect simplistic cutlery that you only need in desperate times. I spent a few sober hours browsing threw the endless crap I was being shown under "pizza cutter" knowing Pizza Friday was coming around the corner. It was getting a bit hairy if my Amazon Prime would be able to get my purchase to me in time. I was getting nervous that yet another drunken friday I would be using a steak knife and destroying my messy dinner. When I came across this, I KNEW it was the ONE!!! Love this thing. I get to use it again TOMORROW!!!!!!

This is a professional grade pizza cutter but also very helpful for the home. Extra large cutting wheel.
Overview: This is a professional grade pizza cutter made out stainless steel metal wheel and high quality handle. Fits very comfortable in hand.Tried it on more than pizza (calzones, pies, pastry, flat bread). So it is a professional quality but at a very affordable price. It was very easy to clean in the dishwasher. The stainless steel blade was easy to clean after cutting an extra cheesy pizza pie. The pizza wheel cutter can be removed for even deeper cleaning. While this item may be designed for professional pizza parlors or pastry chefs, we do find it very useful in the home. Especially with this price. We were able to cut the entire pizza including the hard crust at the edges. The pizza had lots of toppings including peppers and mushroom. We were very pleased the way the sharp blade just cut thru them and created beautiful slices. The other pizza slicers leave a mushy messy edge when cutting mushrooms with lots of cheese.

Does the job. Wish it had a cover.
Needed to replace a cutter that got tossed in a pizza box and can't find the same one. This is not has great as the one I previously had, and I don't like that it does not have a covery. Does the job though.
