Great art, fun stories, whole series in one volume
I really enjoyed this series, and it’s awesome to have it all in one handy volume. Mike Deodato’s art is gorgeous, and he draws an amazing Elektra. I love the appearances of Wolvie, Taskmaster, and others, and the stories are just light, fun, and enjoyable. Solid A rating.

Best Elektra Series, In My Opinion
Wonderful art by Mike Deodato, done shortly after his stint on Wonder Woman when he specialized in drawing beautiful women, Elektra has never looked better and the stories are all great, too.

Elektryfing
A bit shallow writing at the beginning, repeating the same lines over and over but it quickly picked up the pace and turned into a great read.

Elektra Fans Must Have
Must have if you're a fan of Elektra.I wish there were more Elektra/Daredevil crossovers in this collection but she's bomb by herself so I still say buy it :)

A arte do Mike Deodato é simplesmente fantástica.

The 90s at its best/worst
This book collects Elektra's first solo run, #1-19 + #-1, about 480 pages. The art is the first thing that meets the eye and it's tacky as hell. Elektra's outfit, for starter, looks amazing in the first few issues, but quickly you're left wondering why she has so many useless knives on herself, and don't get me started on the sword. Women are drawn like sex goddesses and men like moutains of muscle, don't bother trying to look for a regular looking person. Even your run of the mill passerby has at least a slightly defined six pack. The story is entertaining, nothing very original or surprising, but some good ideas are put forward. The Architect storyline is pretty interesting, but that's most likely because I enjoy all things related to India and the villain is heavily hinted of having a link to vedic mythos. The American Samurai story was shit. In fact, as soon as it starts shoehorning Daredevil awkwardly, its pretty bad. I enjoyed Wolverine's relationship with Elektra, it's a shame pretty much only Greg Rucka took the story further with them in The Redeemer. Oh and if you expect to see a follow-up to all these plot threads being thrown at your face in the last issue, don't bother, no succeeding author using the Elektra character has deemed it necessary to do so. A shame, since Nina was an interesting villain. The characters are pretty forgettable. Konrad's story is very unconfortable, gets switched into a woman's body and looses no time to find a love interest. It's just that he has no trauma over it, he just casually waltz into being a woman despite being pretty fine with being a guy all this time. Nina is a wasted character, its a shame we don't see anything coming up with her story. Her final outfit was ugly as hell, though. Elektra's new bf is interesting, but gets into the crossfire, is admitted into a hospital (no coma though, he'll recover) and is essentially forgotten from the Elektra lore forever. So if you enjoy the characters, fine, but don't hope to seeing them ever again, they died with the series.Overall, it's a fine read. As an Elektra fan, I'd recommend it as light reading, but don't take it to heart and go read a good book right after.
