Great Laptop for all task.
Whether its content createion, gmaing or just for entertainment this laptop is a beast. It is fast, not much heavy and has one of the best displays out there in market.Like most of gamig latop this one get hot when on high intensity work load. The battery backup only about 4-5 hrs max while normal use. This laptop take a lot of power so before buying this be sure to have a 16A or 32A power plug in home. The microsoft office subscription is all there even the serial number is printed on the main box and its pre installed on the system.

Portable productivity/gaming
I own a g15 version of this, main difference is mine AMD version and 15.6" 16:9 ratio, paid 1.05 lakhScreen is quite good compared to lenovo laptops I saw at stores. Also has freesync (gsync would be perfect, but trust me most fps games won't make difference bw these two)Buy a type c 100w charger separately, you can easily use it as a go to device at cafe (discrete graphic use will need your stock charger)Two issues or con: keyboard slightly heats up, mild discomfort. Loud fan noise at high performance (you definitely need a noise cancelling headphones for gaming at that range)Dota 2 fps at 130-140 max with QHD res, full settings enabled. Haven't tested other games yetNewer 2024 Zephyrus are beasts, but price is a bit high, totally worth it actually- OLED and advanced optimus features, also better graphics

Good for content creaters.
Ram can be issue here. 8gb soldered to motherboard and 8 gb stick which we can upgrade but same memory stick perform better....

Great choice for the senior developers
This is what I was looking for a long time. This is the fastest windows laptop available under 3lacs.I'm a software developer, so this review is after using for react, react-native, nodejs apps development.Pros:1. 14 core processor2. 4800MHz DDR5 RAM3. Additional slot for secondary SSD4. Strong premium build quality5. Premium display with 144Hz refresh rate.6. Fast charger7. Large trackpad8. Face unlocking works well9. Good choice for software developersCons:1. Doesn't have fingerprint lock2. Gaps below the buttons, that below button light reflects in the eyes3. Starts heating up during heavy usage4. Little heavy in weight ~2.1kg5. Charger needs larger socket (~12A), doesn't fit into regular desk socket board.

Hot. Software bugs. Ok battery life
I'm writing this review after using it for about a month. This thing gets really hot to touch really fast. It's not meant to be kept on lap although it's a laptop.Performance is great and games run smooth provided you need to give it good cooling. The software bugs I'm complaining about is due to Asus's pre installed software to control performance I guess.Camera quality is poor, mics are not good sounding, all due to Asus's software maybe. And the battery, oh boy, even after having 90Wh and performance put to battery saver mode at 100% in a new laptop, it turned off within 2 hours of watching movie with ear buds. It drained more than 10% while doing nothing at lowest brightness settings and battery saver mode.--- update -I did some tweaks in the armoury crate (Asus hardware control app) and experimented with different things, now the battery life has improved a little, so added a star back, but still, you have to know what you are doing and how it'll affect you. Not straight forward. But the software is still buggy and hence, no star upgrade as it is very pricey.---What is wrong with Asus???I'm so not happy with the product with such high price tag. I wish I could get a refund 😞I wish I could get a do over with that kind of money.

Malfunctioning keys
All of a sudden the numerical 8 key started pressing automatically.Tried a lot of stuff but none of them worked.Have been using ASUS ROG since last 4 years and this is 2nd laptop but I can say that I am really not satisfied with the new laptop compared to my old laptop when it comes to build quality.

Laptop is great, but the microsoft office subscription is falsely advertised.
The product looks, runs, and sounds great. Solid package overall. The only issue that I have faced is the product mentioning an Office 2021 subscription that failed to activate with me. I contacted both Microsoft and ASUS support but they both simply told me that the device does not come with a free subscription.

Try this for long battery.
Go to this link and follow the instructions.https://www.reddit.com/r/ZephyrusM16/comments/th5kce/2022_m16_how_to_tweak_to_improve_battery_life/What it does? Switches off dedicated GPU, enables eco mode(windows silent mode), set screen brightness to 50% and limits watts usage to 45W.(not meant for gaming) set display to 60Hz refresh rate.Do know this will drop performance to almost 60%(45W) of full performance(but is more than sufficient for just casual browsing and daily task and even development ). Unless you want to game or use rendering or photoshop on battery which is still possible, will obviously perform 40% slower and drain more. All laptop excluding mac's will behave the same. This 60% is on par with performance on M1pro 10c-16gc. Extra is for pushing the limits of the chipset to outperform the rest.Try to set different profile for gaming /Stress activities and another profile for day to day uses. 6-7 hours for daily use is sufficient I hope. And do try gaming plugged in(that's what this machine is meant for).Fan and thermal is not the best running loud and hot(keeping chip temp cool where it really matters ). Rather have this setting that burn my chipset inside. All in all it has its drawbacks which can be slightly tweaked and make it an all rounder.PS: Price is too high but cant say no to that bezel less display which makes it look premium to carry around and is light weight(compared to other 16 inch laptops). 3060 is sufficient and enough to satisfy most users.Cheers happy gaming.
