Very nicely done, fits my cold steel ax. Did have to stretch the clasp leather around the handle. I worked it with my baseball glove oil and it loosened up a little.

I ordered this for my Marbles camp axe and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of this sheath. Leather is nice and heavy, quality stitching and heavy duty rivets. It does not have a welt between the rivets but from I can tell it's riveted so tight I don't feel that there's any chance of the edge coming in contact with the rivets or the stitching. Another thing to mention with the Marbles axe specifically is it will only reach one snap. I don't know if I would trust that for belt carry, but i carry my axe on my pack and just wanted something to protect the edge. It did however go to both snaps with my other small hatchets. Overall I cant say enough good things about this sheath and would definitely recommend it. Shipping took about two weeks and was worth the wait!

This was suggested for my Tail boss axe but this does not fasten properly to it.

Needed a leather sheath to protect myself or any user (kids) from the sharp edge of the hatchet I use to split wood logs for my bbq grill. This one came up so why not try it. Got it in 24 hours, great leather feel, and it fit my standard hatchet no problem, the wrap fit great, both buttons snapped with no issues; it will do the job for sure. Very surprised with the leather quality, good grain, for the price, outstanding.

It fits!I was worried given the reviews, that it may not fit, but ...I measured my axe, and read the description.It just fit, i.e. could not snap both snaps, but I was able to snap one, so I will call it a win.Maybe it will stretch out?

This is a good quality ax cover but it was slightly smaller than the head of my ax but I was able to stretch the button snap. Not sure how long it will last especially after I had to stretch it to fit.

I've had a cheap and "ugly hatchet" that I bought years ago @ an army surplus store for $5.95-as I remember. It's even called an "Ugly (Hatchet) Tool". But for some reason I've always loved this little ugly tool. It's got a pry bar for pulling out nails from lumber & boards and a hammer head as well as the hatchet blade business-end. I've used this hatchet to clear brush and branches from my yard and chopping up fire kindling wood. I always wanted to make or find a cover for the hatchet blade-end since I always keep it razor sharp. Found this axe cover which fit fairly close to my tool (It was also 3X the cost of what I paid for the tool itself! LOL!) But well worth it! Well-made and wish I could use it on a better axe or hatchet-But all things considered like they say..."it's the precious little things in life that are worth saving!" Great job Style N' Craft!

It took a while to break in the sheath for my ColdSteel Trail Boss Axe (27inch), but once I stretched the leather a bit it fits like a glove. I got the 4 1/2" version, so perhaps the 4 3/4" would work better for that Axes...but like I said, work it a bit and it will fit!Good overall!

Awesome sheath.Well made.You need to soak it in warm water, then stretch it to your axe to fit. Leave it on your axe while it's drying and it will mold to the shape.

Brought for my new estwing sportsmans axe that does not fit at all way to big. Been waiting a long time so disappointed

This doesn't snugly fit my generic axe, as expected since this is just a generic sheath, but it does cover my axe well.

Made good. Best fit i could find. Would of liked them to have another piece of leather between the two sides where the rivets r. So that if dropped or bumped into something the rivets dont ding the hatchet edge. Havent oiled them yet. But one got cooking oil splattered on it making it look more distingushed.
