Was pretty close to an exact fit for what I had. Seems to be decent quality, time will tell. Easy to install, was only 3 screws

I'm not the most handy person, but this was easy to install even for my skill level. I watched an online video that I had found on how to replace the recliner cable, and then did the same for my couch recliner. The only con I have is that it is a bit harder to pull than the original, but then again the original was almost 10 years old, and I bet it was that hard to pull back then too. My guess is that it'll go back to how it was after several uses. In either case, it is a very small con, and this replacement part deserves all five stars. I will update if anything goes wrong, but I don't expect it to.

So the warranty on our new sectional from Ashley Furniture covers just about everything ... fabric tears, wears, pet damage, spills/stains, etc. The "mechanical" part of the warranty covers the mechanisms (recliners, etc) and parts of. However, it does NOT cover the pull lever mechanism to release a recliner. It's like they knew that they equipped their furniture with weak and useless pulleys and cables.My husband found these as he was tired of using a pair of needle nose pliers to release the recliner in "his spot." These showed up quickly as usual and installed in no time. We even replaced the other 2 original ones (that weren't broken -yet) with these.No issues and they all work better and even feel "tougher" and stronger than the originals!

Fit my camper's recliner perfectly.These things are just like original. Of course my original broke the first year I owned my camper (bought it new).So the 3 pack will probably come in handy.

2nd Update, we just bought another 3 pack because we ran out of all the others. Cheap enough fix though.Update...5 months one broke. Just seems like a design flaw on the couch. But for the price and you get 3, it's still a good buy.So far so good. I will update later to see if they break like all the others (each section has broken at least twice). They were a little longer than the stock ones, but function great, and seen to work better than og ones.

These seem to be universal cables. If the picture looks like the cables on your recliner it probably will work. My fairly new recliner loveseat cable broke at the "D" ring. They looked the same in the ad. I have an idea they are mostly produced by the same factory. Look over how they work on your recliner, noting where they attach and how the cable is routed. Installation was simple. It may be possible to push the cushion down enough to remove the top screws and un-clip the bottom attachment. I taped the bottom of the new cable to the top of the old cable and pulled it through, I then attached the new bottom S shaped attachment and the lock clip. I then used the original 4 screws to attach the top D ring bracket. I then pulled the new D-Ring, put my feet up and turned on the TV. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Perfect replacement part, pending what your recliner is and located it’s not an easy install.

When my release broke on my recliner I went to the furniture store where I had bought it to see about getting it repaired. They basically weren't interested. I heard about parts being available on Amazon and gave it a try. I got a package with 3 replacement handles for around $15, and they were exactly what I needed. It took me about an hour to repair my recliner and was I glad the furniture store didn't do it as it would have costs me 10 times that much. This is a great product! If you buy it you will not be disappointed.
