I bought this adapter to feed a B6 LiPo charger. I've had good luck with Chanzon in the past, and I'm pleased to say this charger lives up to my expectations. The UL listing gives me extra peace of mind, knowing that these have been tested for electrical safety.The power supply feels nice and heavy, and the insides don't sound hollow when you knock on it (unlike countless other cheap, sketchy power supplies out there). That let me know they're putting way more than the bare-minimum components into this thing.I've exclusively used this adapter on battery chargers, and frequently push it close to its maximum current rating. I don't use it long enough to know how it performs long-term, but it doesn't get too hot after about 1 hour of use.Like most other ungrounded power supplies, this one has a tiny bit of leakage current due to the interference-suppressing capacitors, so you'll feel a slight buzz when you touch the negative terminal (or any metal surfaces on devices it powers). I checked with my multimeter and it seems to be around the same, maybe a little higher, than other power supplies I had, but still far from being dangerous.One thing I noticed was that this power supply takes a veeeerrrrry long time to discharge--so don't be surprised if your device stays powered for a few seconds after you unplug it! Totally normal, it just means they're using big smoothing capacitors, which is nice.In conclusion, this feels like a great quality power supply, and it's been performing great for me!

I am reviewing the following product: Chanzon 12V 5A 60W AC DC Power Supply Adapter (Input 110V-220V, Output 12 Volt 5 Amp 60 Watt)This power supply was an extremely important purchase for me. I bought it since it was highest rated power supply on Amazon.com with the requirements I was looking for. I wanted a genuine 12V 5A Positive tip power supply that could provide up to 1A each to up to 5 items simultaneously. I'm using this with a Pig Hog 10 Spot power splitter to power four semimodular synthesizers at the same time. I needed this power supply to have enough current to do the job, without introducing noise into any of the circuits, since I am cross patching audio and control voltage across several synths in my musical endeavors. I'm currently using this to power the following at the same time: Arturia MicroBrute, Moog Mother 32, Behringer Model D, and Behringer Neutron. This power supply had to have the advertised current rating, since I wanted the power supply to be well beyond the current specs for what I am powering. I did not want to overwork the power supply by shortchanging the current draw.I have been using this Chanzon Power Supply for over 2 months now, with no issues whatsoever so far. I was very careful testing with each and every synth before relying on this full time. I have had no issues with noise. The power supply gets warm, without becoming hot. I have left it on for days at a time without issue. I have this plugged into a Furman power conditioner that I switch on to power all my current synths simultaneously. This has enabled me to replace 4 DC wall wart power supplies that took up a lot of space. I am grateful the positive reviews on this power supply have been genuine, since my setup is quite expensive and quite a labor of love.I want to leave this review to help any others that endeavor to simplify their power to their semimodular synthesizers. Before you attempt to do this, be informed about your power requirements, voltage, and tip polarity. Getting any of that wrong can destroy your precious gear. But I am writing this to confirm that this power supply has worked flawlessly for me and what I wanted to achieve, and I'm grateful for it. I would recommend this to power any of the synths I have tested it with. I had two TiVo Roamio OTA/Cable DVRs. The power supply failed on one and I replaced it with one I had in my junk box. The Second unit started having issues and I swapped the power supply and my issue was corrected - but that power supply was hot. So I ordered two of these and replaced both power supplies - after 8 days, both TiVo's are doing fine and the power supply bricks on these are nice & cool. I'm betting the 5 amp rating vs. the 2 amp original is a big help. The adapter plug is a not quite as tight a fit as the original, but it fits/works. Five stars for keeping my old stuff working.

Purchased this to replace power adapter for Tivo Roamio OTA series 5. It was recommended by others doing a similar upgrade because of its reliability. I have no reason to doubt that currently. However, the barrel of the male connector is considerably shorter than the original Tivo power adapter. It makes a very poor connection and with the slightest movement loses connection. It was necessary to purchase an adapter to go with this to get an adequate fit. On Amazon I found the RIEYOCA 90 Degree 240 watt DC Power Adapter 5.5mm x 2.5mm female to a 5.5mm x 2.1mm Male. It is very difficult to source something with at least a 12mm male barrel. This one has what you need for a Tivo.

Work perfectly with my 16.4ft 5050 LED strip lights.No noise and no heat while operating, my LED strips is absolutely working to its potential, roughly should be a full 60W adapterThe UL-Listed number I check online and it is valid,it passes UL security certification, so I didn't have to worry about the safety precaution.Some adapters sold on amazon at lower price are without UL-Listed,it could be very dangerous to use them, because it is fire hazard.There is 2-3 seconds delay since power on due to the capacitor charging and internal protection.This is a normal for all the tranfomers but I think other buyer should know that before purchase.Packaging is also design to protect the power adapter .For the two additional connectors, I don't use them for my led strip, I think they will be helpful for connecting to other products.Finally, I am very satisfied with this chanzon power adapter and will buy again soon for my other LED strips.
