CHEEKON Shim Kit 40 Pieces of Box-Packed for AEG Airsoft Gun Gearboxes Stainless Steel

So I know some shims are not what they're advertised to be so I almost always keep my calipers handy. My calibers are accurate to +/- 0.01mm so the fact that these are within that is very good. Also having the little box to store the parts is nice, even if it isn't the highest quality. I've had it pop open on occasion and have shims spill out. Also unlike the photo my box didn't come with labels on top but it's not a big issue to take a marker or make your own labels.Overall pleasantly surprised by these shims.

The way these are produced is by stamping them out of precise thickness sheets of metal. It's great because it's super cheap way to manufacture the shims, but i found that the all 1, 2, and some 3 shims had ridges (mainly on the inside) from the stamping process. Which meant when I would measure them they would be off.Once i went through all the shims and removed the ridges:1's were about 0.15mm2's were about 0.24mm3's were about 0.31mm4's were about 0.40mmand i had several 1's that measured more about 0.18 and several 2's that were more like 0.28mmYou get what you pay for and if you're careful it's a decent shim kit.

Eh. Not sure if I ever even got 0.1mm shims in this, It's a crapshoot on whether I dump the 0.16mm shims into the 0.1 or 0.2 mm box.
