Meow MixSimple Servings Wet Cat Food, Seafood Variety Pack, 1.3 Ounce Cup (Pack of 24)

Stupidly, some marketing exec decided to discontinue manufacture/sale of this cat food. I could not believe it and even contacted the manufacturer, which resulted in NO information...This food, while pricey, seemed just the thing for our feral kitties...It was conveniently sized and apparently tasty to their little pallets...but go figure: discontinued. The original 2.8 oz. size was a bargain, but when they dropped that size only this tiny snack size became available and I bought it regularly , never suspecting it would be D/C'ed...It was grrrrrreat...highly recommended...no longer available.

It's awful these were discontinued. They were one of the cleanest affordable wet foods around. While our cat with bad IBD eats specialty food, she would sometimes steal food from our other cats. This was one of the few things we could give them that wouldn't make her sick if she managed to get some. The other option is feeding them all specialty food, and this saved us a couple hundred dollars a month between all the cats. Haven't seen it around in ages though. Super disappointed. We're fortunate to be able to afford specialty foods for cats' various health issues, but many can't. And this could have been a lifesaver for cats with similar conditions.

Makes their poo stink much worse than any other brand tried

Great size, some cans too big with wasted food. This is just right size for my small eater.

I love that these are single serve. I have 4 cats that are greedy beasts when I am trying to portion out bigger containers onto 4 plates. It’s a fight between me and them. I’ve tried being sneaky but it’s like they just know when ai touch the door knob on the pantry and the run at me like attacking panthers. With these I just pull off the lids and can set them down while saving my sanity. I have them on subscription but currently it’s out of stock so now I’m fighting my panthers off again.

My 10 year old cat established long ago that he prefers Whiskas pouches to any other wet cat food. But I just can't stop trying other brands to give him variety and to see if he enjoys them more. I bought a case of 24 Meow Mix Simple Servings Wet Cat Food cups to see if he would enjoy the change of pace. He does! He likes this food and eats it all. But that could be because a "serving" is one of the little cups which is 1.3 ounces. A regular can of cat food is 6 ounces (Think: tuna can). The pouches I give my cat now are 3 ounces. That seems small but he seems satisfied after one pouch (twice daily). These are one third the size of the pouches! And they are soupy so my cat isn't getting even an ounce of food per serving. He gets some food and some liquid.The cups are very handy. It's easy to peel back the foil and dump the food onto a plate. The food smells a bit like tuna, nothing too strong. The ingredients appear to be average. Nothing fantastic but decent. But in order for my cat to be full - and he is a thin cat who has dry food available at all times - I need to give him three of these cups in one serving. I have been giving him two in the morning and two in the evening and he has access to his dry food if he wants more to eat. He never leaves any so he isn't getting too full to eat the 2 ounces of food I offer him twice a day.While my cat does like this food, I won't be buying more. It's just too expensive for food that isn't all that great as far as ingredients go. My cat made it clear he enjoys Whiskas and that is what he will get in a few days when this food runs out. If I could get this same food in a three ounce cup and it was around the same price as Whiskas or a little more, I probably would buy it. But, it's just too pricey for the amount of food in a case. I am going with 3 stars. 4 for what I perceive the taste to be by watching my cat eat it, 3 for ingredients, and 2 for amount of food in a case relative to the price.

All my cats like this food and there is never any waste because the portion size is just right. It is very wet with small pieces of actual meat, which my cats prefer. I have a feeling it is discontinued, because there are times when I have ordered that they tell me it is unavailable.
