Extremely high quality sleek design
I’m not a fan of putting cases on my MacBook Air because it typically makes the laptop look cheap and ugly, but this case is the rare exception.First impressions: Built quality and sturdiness of the case, 10/10. We’re all familiar with the cheap plastic clear cases you see all across Amazon, this is not one of them. The clear shell on the case is THICK, and does not flex or warp easily, and the black outer edges are soft rubber that is somehow bonded to the edges of the case. The design is simple, vanilla some would say, letting my MacBook do all the talking.Installation was relatively easy if you’ve done this before. The case has slim clips that are just barely visible once snapped onto the Macbook with no odd gaps and is not too difficult to take off and put back on.If you’re like me and you want a protective case that does not have any designs all over it to compliment your MacBook, this is your best option.

So Far So Good
I chose a pretty rose gold laptop case and I want to look at it, not cover it up. I also have kids and pets and I'm on this thing day and night. So I got a clear case that helped and I'm sure diverted a lot of damage to its poor plastic carapace, but the corners ended up cracking pretty bad in about a year and a half. This new clear protective cover is NOT cracking because it has bumpers! These bumpers run the entire outer rim of the computer except on the lower half where there is nothing where the top and bottom of the laptop hinge together. But the upper one has a longer bumper fin there to make up for it like an eave. The corners are actually squared off, distributing weight differently. There are little crumple zones in the fins of the bumpers which are flexible, probably absorbing impact. I don't know I am not a physicist, I'm making this up based on how I keep dropping my laptop and knocking into things as I walk around with it and watching the little fins compact. The bumper fins also give my pricey rectangle a cool organic curve. So sensual! There is a vented area on the bottom piece to prevent overheating. I did have to go around all the sides a few times to snap this on correctly, I was trying to be too gentle and not break it, but it really snaps on there with a loud "cuh-snick" sound and frankly it seems hard to get off again, which I am not trying to do. While I was leery at first of this obstructing the loveliness of my lappy, I really do like and appreciate it, both in looks and feel and I feel very secure when I see my kid toss my laptop off the table at dinnertime.

Perfect case for my son
I gave my son my old Macbook Air (rose gold) and this case was perfect because it protects the laptop and can be covered in stickers. This case fits the laptop snuggly, and although we have not (and will not purposely) dropped the laptop to see if it protects, it really does feel like it's sturdy enough to handle a fall off his lap and not die.

Good corner protection and not bulky, but not quite a perfect fit.
The Hits:1. The corners are well-padded with a rubberized polymer, for good impact protection.2. It fits securely (if not perfectly) with severel gipping points around the screen and keyboard. It's not coming off unless you want it to.3. I like the sleek looks, and I like that it doesn't add appreciable bulk to a svelte MacBook Air.The Misses (they're not bad, but they justify 4 stars instead of 5):1. The halves of the case don't *quite* fit together perfectly, so the screen doesn't sit completely flat against the keyboard when you close it. It's not open enough to keep the computer awake, but it looks and feels a little clunky.2. The relief around the headphone jack is undersized and off-center. Some headphone jacks will fit just fine, other won't fit at all, and the rest will only fit if you shave them with a knife until they're a little thinner. Once again, this isn't a deal-breaker in an otherwise very nice case, but it's clunky and annoying when you can't plug your speakers in.Altogether I'm pretty satisfied. Good protection and good looks in a very slim MacBook Air case, but not quite perfect.

Perfect Fit ... after I figured it out ... read this before you start
This UZBL Case for a 13 inch MacBook Air fit perfectly ... but only after I figured it out. There were no instructions, (but who need THEM?!?!?!) I popped on the bottom piece with no problem, so I thought Hmmm? "the top would be the same" right? But no matter how hard I tried, it never popped into place, but finally, before breaking it in frustration, I figured out that the top piece slips down over the top lid (as seen in pic #3) So please do not get frustrated, do not break your case, and definitely do not break the computer you meant to protect in the first place. It slides right in and fits perfectly. Good Luck.I should take off a star for NOT having a sheet of paper giving a little guidance, but it is such a great protective cases, once it's on ... I wish we could do a half star, this would have been the perfect place for a small 1/2 star demerit.

Can't get m1 to stay in
I can't get my laptop to stay in the case. If it's just sitting down on the table, it does look nice and seem very protective. This case is definitely shockproof as when the computer isn't in it, it can stand up to anything. However I can't get my computer to stay in it so it's essentially useless to me.

Almost perfect
This is one of the best cases I've had for any laptop so far. That being said it does come with a few quirks. while it does provide excellent fall damage, I do wish they would have opted for a more matte finish or frosted coating on the clear area, as it is easily scratched and the wear becomes very noticeable quickly. It can be easily remedied with decals or stickers but then the appearance becomes cheap. It's a purely cosmetic issue but it would make the overall experience miles better.
