Hello, anyone interested in a smartplane Pro can’t go wrong. Tobyrich is a wonderful company and have cool products. This plane is a little diff. Then their moskito plane. When I first got this plane, one thing is it’s a lot bigger. The app is really where this thing shines. You have settings changing from a helicopter mode to flying back to airplane mode and doing some cool stunts. The plane flies so steady and beautifully on nice calm day. Download the free app in iOS or Android. Called Tobyrich Smart Plane Pro. Settings can be adjusted and also stunts.The plane is made super well, durable and you get two extra props which you prob will never need, but just Incase you get a prop tool to change it. The battery is detachable and rechargeable so you can get more batteries. (12 min run time and about 20 min charge) You do also get the same joystick if you used the moskito plane before. And same set up to fly either by tilting with you phone or using the joystick. Both work really well. The plane is packaged really well and easy to take anywhere when your ready to fly. This plane is lots of absolutely awesome to fly and more entertaining that any drone that I have owned.I must also say that the customer service provided by TobyRich is AAA+++!!!!!Can't wait to see what they come out with next.

Why does this microplane cost so much money? Does it have a iNav w GPS? And come with dragonlink? Lol i LOVE the design and think you have done a great job, but i can buy the new TBS capriah2 or a bixler for example rtf for less? No disrespect id love to have one... but there must be a reason? If you would like to speak, i would be willing to work something out with you, as im working on a linenof micro wings also but more geared to the tiny whoop market both brushed and brushless... ty n hope to hear from you ;p ps beautiful layout

I have the upgraded FPV+. It is an identical plane with an added recording device. The battery runs out in under 30 seconds - from full charge to ZERO in under a minute. I have contacted the company twice and they do NOT respond at all! Do not waste your money.

Grundsätzlich ein gutes Konzept. Aber absolut nicht haltbar. Höhenruder nach dem ersten Flug defekt. Vorsicht: der Hersteller hat Insolvenz seit Jahren angemeldet. Es gibt somit keine Ersatzteile mehr. Daher erfolgt hier bei Amazon wohl gerade der Abverkauf.

Grundsätzlich Fliegt es top, flog aber vor dem letzten Update um einiges besser. Bevor die Features für Höhenreguliering und Stabilisation im übertrieben Masse dazu kamen. In der Luft stehen geht garnicht mehr da das System übertrieben eingreift (wenn noch leichter Wind hinzu kommt wird es gaaaaanz schwierig) Fliege auch den Moskito und finde fast der macht noch mehr Spaß da er sich kontrollierter wirklich selber fliegen lässt, da Mann ihn tatsächlich selber steuert. Ist zwar nicht so schnell, aber Mann findet mit dem Moskito andere Ziele wie z.b. Zwischen Hindernissen durch gleiten oder sich in Sturzflug begeben und ihn rechtzeitig anbfangen . Beim Smartplane kommen Verbindungsprobleme seit dem Update hinzu, muss immer erst einmal in die Konfig gehen um das Flugzeug starten zu können.. vorher lief alles sehr reibungslos.iPhone 8iOS 12

Habe den Flieger als Ersatz für den fortgewehten „Moskito“ gekauft. Auf den ersten Blick solide, wenn auch keinesfalls „bruchfest“. Die Steuerungs-App funktioniert ab iPhone 6 mindestens, Verbindung klappt auf Anhieb, Funktionsweise ist wie bei der Moskito-App. Da fangen auch die ersten Probleme an: die Verbindung bricht im Flug bei deutlich unter 10m ab! Häufig reagiert der Flieger dann erst nach neuverbindung (Akku muss raus). Pluspunkt ist der sehr bequem zu entfernender Akku-das Laden geht über einen USB-Stick-Aufsatz, ein Kabel entfällt. Ersatzakku wäre hingegen schön! Die Steuerung dafür hackt - häufig lässt sich das Flugzeug nur nach rechts steuern, das höhenruder geht meistens. Überhaupt verhackt sich das seitliche Leitwerk im höhenruder regelmäßig-dann geht nichts mehr! Die turbo-billige Servos verdienen den Namen nicht! Der Motor ist zwar stark, ein Anfänger ist jedoch aufgrund der Geschwindigkeit schnell überfordert. Zum indoor fliegen braucht man schon eine kleine Halle! Einzig im Helikopter-Modus ist der Flieger gut zu steuern. Es gibt kein Fahrwerk-ein Plastikbügel hätte gereicht! Somit landet der Flieger auf dem überdimensionierten Propeller und überschlägt sich. Wie viele Abstürze es überlebt hätte - kann ich nur schätzen. Für uns ist das nichts! Mein Kind hatte den „Moskito“ schnell im Griff- dieses Teil ist in mehrfacher Sicht ein Fehlgriff, wenn auch mit Potential.

Das Flugzeug ist grundsätzlich hochwertig und stabil gebaut.Leider musste ich mein erstes Modell zurückschicken da die Verbindung dauernd abgebrochen ist.Zudem war das "stabile"Material zerbrechlicher als ein Ei.Da der Flugspaß wenn sie funktioniert echt toll war,bestellte ich mir eine zweite.Leider musste ich auch bei diesem Modell feststellen,dass der Akku nicht erkannt wird und das Flugzeug nicht einmal fliegt.Da ich auch schon zwei Moskitos hatte die auch beide schnell kaputt gingen kann ich nun sagen nie wieder Toby Rich.Mit der Swing von Parrot bekommt man ein deutlich besseres Flugzeug.

Important to know: it turns on the rudder. So, turning radius is quite wide, and long turns cause the plane to nosedive. In fact, there's only one elevator, so don't expect elevator turns to show up in an update.Another thing: The only way to control altitude is with power. You want to go up, you increase power. You want to go down, throttle down. You have no control on the elevator. It's only controlled by the onboard computer.That being said... I've had the plane for 2 months now.It can fly very fast or very slow, we prefer slow to keep it in view.The battery lasts incredibly long for its size.The plane is incredibly tough. It has already been crashed 100 times in 100 ways and is still as new.It does get stuck in trees. Obviously. If you lose control and there are trees around, you might have to climb a bit.It's a lot of fun and I 100% recommend it.
