Brilliant!
The vinyl release of The Killers' "Hot Fuss" album is an absolute treasure for fans and collectors alike. With its iconic tracks and infectious energy, this album takes on new life on vinyl, delivering an immersive listening experience like no other. Each song comes to life with rich, warm tones and crisp sound quality, reminding fans why they fell in love with The Killers in the first place. From the electrifying "Mr. Brightside" to the anthemic "Somebody Told Me," every track is a masterpiece that stands the test of time. Whether you're a longtime fan or discovering The Killers for the first time, the vinyl release of "Hot Fuss" is a must-have addition to any music collection.

Too good a band to be given the wrong bio details!
Great album, great band - pity Amazon put the wrong band's bio in their details section, as the Killers are an American rock band, not a French heavy metal band!

Very happy to see this re-relesed
I was looking to add this one to my collection as I absolutely love the killers, but it was over £60 everywhere I had looked prior to this re-issue.No issues with the quality of the vinyls and the inserts were nice enough, featuring pictures of all the members from way back then.I love this record, it has a much more raw tone to it, compared to their newest stuff (which IMHO sounds like generic garbage past Day and Age). I feel like this album is a lot more experimental too, especially in terms of synth (which they loved using in this record).Of course there's the classic Mr. Brightside, Smile Like you Mean it, Somebody Told Me and All Things That I've Done but there are other gems on that album too like Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine and Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll which are my personal favorites. This album is incredibly nostalgic for me as it was all I listened to when I was just a pre-teen (I'm now 18) along with various other releases by The Killers. They aren't the same band as they were back in the Hot Fuss days, but damn, did they write some good music back then.

Too much of a good thing
5 stars for the music but one knocked off for the the vinyl.Returned first copy as it couldn't get through All These Things I've Done without sticking.Replacement copy seemed to have the same issue but I was eventually able to rub off whatever was causing it on this one. But, 2 copies both with issues with the last track on side A. Another reviewer mentioned the run out track being faulty. I can't even lift my tonearm to the latter part of track 5 it's so tight to the label.Seems like this might have benefitted from being a double disc release and not squeezing quite so much on side A.

The debut album on vinyl of the Las Vegas band is a must have for every indie fan
One of the best indie albums of all time! If you never listened to them the first five songs convert anyone that appreciates music to an immediate fan of this collective, the explosion in “Jenny was a friend of mine” followed by the classic “Mr. Brightside” (it will be biblical when we can hear this song again in a bar while drinking a cold beer with friends after the pandemic), the Joy division influenced “Smile Like you mean it”, lead single “Somebody told me”and the chorus on “All these things that I’ve done” makes you want to sing this for weeks. The rest of album, although not at the same level is still a good collection of tracks, honorable mention for “Andy you’re a star”. A classic album to have on wax.
