I bought this as a Christmas present and received it right before Christmas or I 100% would have returned it. My item arrived in horrible condition: multiple pieces chipped and splintered, colors extremely muted compared to the pictures, and item were easily half the size of the pictures. I also only received 8 different pieces and colors instead of the listed 18

Despite the mixed reviews, I ordered anyway. Grimms was simply too much. And this product, for the price, has been great. No problems. It’s stacks, it looks nice, it’s not a slick finish. The peg people are exactly what you see in the picture. No problems at all if you are looking for a more affordable alternative to a grimms, especially if you aren’t even sure your kid will play with as much as you as a parent want it for your kids.

I love the size and that the rainbow peg people were perfect for standing on the rainbows curves.My classroom children were very happy and have been using it daily.I'm not sure about the strength of the pieces just yet.But it is a wonderful addition to my classroom.I would definitely buy another one as a gift.The price was amazing I would definitely recommend to anyone like me who always wanted a rainbow!

I read a lot of reviews for stacking rainbow sets before buying this product over the pricey “named brand” product. I’m very happy with the quality of this product. The rainbow colors are beautiful and the wood seems very sturdy. You can feel the wood under the paint job but it isn’t too rough at all.

Bought this for my son’s second birthday, but my 6 & 7 year old nieces play with it the most. They enjoy playing dolls and pretend with the pieces. My 2 year old mostly uses the pieces as a tunnel for his cars. Love this open ended toy and I love that it caters to such a wide age range and is interesting for both girls and boys.

This rainbow stacker seems durable. We had fun trying the taller more precarious stacks, and watching them tumble to the ground. I definitely think it’s a great value for the money spent, especially since the Grimm set is almost double what this set costs without the dolls. Definitely would recommend these to any parent.

I was so excited to get this for my daughter. I had the Grimms rainbow ($160) or a cheap knockoff rainbow ($24) in my cart. But I went in between with this one ($65...still high). Usually wood toys mean “lasts forever” but these barely made it out of the box without getting damaged. Def flimsy and the paint started to melt off The orange doll. So I’m wondering when the others will start to die with the orange guy! Also, the paint scratches off of the rainbow, which shows it’s not stained. It’s gonna look destroyed soon. I may return and spend for the Grimm. Disappointed!! For this price it should be made better.

This is a good product. Fun play for pretend and nice quality. She plays with it with lots of others toys as part of the game.
