Q: Why does my slid when moving anything on it?

If wheels slide or roll what is the difference, put some fine oil on the wheel axel, lube up the wheels, so they turn freely under a load, the other reason may be there, is too much weight on them, don’t know I have only had a thousand pounds on mine, going up an incline it bent two of the sets of wheels

I had to put a 2x4 across and zip tie them to the wheels because they kept coming out of what I was moving once I did that I moved a 750lbs cabinet lying down with no problem.just make the 2x4 the width of what you are moving.

Q: Can a 2000 pound safe permanent sit on these to make it easier to move ?

It shows 3747 US LBS for the 5 wheels but I after much reading and researching other similar products on and off Amazon, I believe it's meant to be 374.7 lbs US. I don't know if that's each wheel or altogether. I am being generous and saying that 374.7 is per wheel. If you are trying to use these for a safe and it's yours to move, then I wouldn't use individual wheels. I would spend the money and buy a heavy duty steel frame welded with 6 locking wheels, the same size as your safe. Doing it that way is less chance of 1 wheel breaking underneath, or collapse because the weight isn't evenly distributed. These wheels are meant for moving refrigerator, stoves, couches to sweep under them and put them back or house moving aids. Hope you find what you need. 🙂
