POWERTEC70344 2-1/2" 90 Degree Elbow - ABS Plastic Dust Collector Connector (Black)

This 90 degree elbow is the perfect addition to your 2.5” dust collection system.The elbow is made of a hard, smooth plastic that provides a nice smooth 90 degree transition thus reducing friction of the material flowing through it.As with all of these products, the 2.5” measurement is to the outside leaving the inside diameter at about 2.25”.It is also worth mentioning that the end diameters of this elbow are the same size as your 2.5” dust collection pipe. So, you will need (typically) a rubber pipe coupler to connect this elbow to your dust collection pipe. I ended up buying a 2 1/2 inch rubber pipe coupler from Amazon, which works great for this coupling. But I needed additional couplers. So, I also ended up buying some 2 inch rubber couplers from the big box store and they stretch around this pipe very easily as well.Overall, this 90 degree elbow was exactly what I needed for my dust collection system, and I would highly recommend it’s use for you as well.

This fitting is useless. Although it is the same OD as other 2-1/2 " dust collector and vac fittings, the ID is too small, and one cannot fit a standard shop vac hose coupling into it. You have to connect this thing using rubber couplings or clamp a hose directly to it. Not suitable for rapid plug-in connections.
