I Should Have Asked My Doctor, First.
FeaturesAges 18+A solid colorSoft, but firmFull neck extensionFits occipital borderCervical spine alignmentFull stretch in 3 directionsGentle and strong traction possibleConsiderationsGet medical advice, firstDo not allow children to use thisDo not allow babies to look in the projected lightsMedical supervision is key to keeping a person safeNumerous precautions and contraindications notedThis product notes, in the listing, that it is NOT suitable for people with the following conditions: Cervical Hyperextension, Cervical Osteophyte, Cervical Stenosis, Osteoporosis, Cerebral Thrombosis, Hypertension, Cardiopathy, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Patient with a Cardiac Pacemaker, Minors below 18 Years Old (with Open Epiphyseal Plate), Pregnant Woman, Menstrual Period, PU Leather Allergy, possible other conditions. I missed this. But the box did list this, which made me severely pause my interest in using this.DebateThere are issues surrounding use of this. Seek medical advice prior to use. I did not. My mistake, not the product’s.What was receivedA colorful, sturdy, tape sealed, retail like cardboard package measuring about 8” x 8½ ” x 5” and weighing in at just over one (1) pound and two (2) ounces.InsideInside, in plastic packaging, was the cervical traction device with an instruction booklet/log.Must do firstConsult with a doctor first, read the booklet of instructions, repeatedly and thoroughly and understand what this product’s intended use is FIRST, before attempting use.ColorI think the solid (lighter) blue like color nice and it is consistent throughout the product.AromaWhether real or imagined, this seemed to have a new, heavy plastic aroma, which seemed to air out after removing it from its plastic packaging and allowing it to air out.Clean-upI used water, with a few drops of mild detergent, and a damp rag with that solution. I then immediately wiped dry and allowed to further air dry. I did NOT saturate this with water.FeelThe feel of this is solid, sturdy, but with flex, and it seems durable. It’s not a hard plastic, it’s more of a very firm foam that keeps its shape. I did find this to have a bit of flex, while in use, however, it did not flatten out whatsoever.Time of useLiterally, sessions are only to be a couple of minutes.Do these things work?Whether real or imagined, that’s for the individual user to decide. For me, it’s more professional and specific, in design, than a fancy pillow I once used.Select again? If I received approval from my doctor, yes, I would select this again. Was this as listed?Yes, including photos, this looked as it does in the listing. Claims are a different issue that I will not debate or argue. Will this fit all?Hmm, for sure a smaller frame fits better than does an NFL linebacker’s type frame.Country of originMade in ChinaValueCompetitively pricedGiftable?Yes, this can pass as a gift. The retail package was colorful, sturdy, and had photos of this and marketing information. The only problem is whether the recipient is medically fit to use this.I hope my thoughts added information.

great tool for pain
This is such a great tool for a deep stretch of your neck muscles. If you sit at a desk all week long, you may benefit from a short session with this stretcher. It helps to relax the muscles and let go of the tension. Don't get me wrong, the device itself is not comfortable, but the benefits are worth a few minutes of pain.

Nice gentle stretch
I suffer from nerve and muscle issues in my neck and shoulders. I’ve been using another style “neck stretcher” that is half the size and has nubs that press on either side of the spine. It’s nice, but sometimes it is way too painful. Of course I was very happy when I saw this! I jumped right on it and ordered it up.First thing I noticed, and the boyfriend too, was the very very detailed instruction booklet. I highly recommend reading it all the way through. It really isn’t that long, but oh so full of great knowledge, to include speaking on muscle fatigue!I then tried it using the “strong stretch” side. It wasn’t too bad at all. Nice and firm, yet so soft. It was comfortable, but I just did not feel the stretch. The next night I tried it using the “gentle stretch” side. YES!!! That was pure bliss. It put just the right amount of pressure in the occipital region, and surprisingly enough, it opened up my sinuses?!?I may have to set a timer while laying on this, as I did not want to get up. This is exactly what I needed and am beyond happy with this purchase!!!I believe the price is great and could recommend for anyone needing some relief!Of course, it is recommended you check with your doctor prior to use, especially if you have certain conditions.Love love love this!

Happy-er neck
I'm getting older and my neck likes to remind me of this every chance it gets. It can bother me so much that I actually fantasize about what different methods I could create to pull and stretch it out. I've seen the weird contraptions where a person can hook straps to a door knob and it will cradle/pull the neck in that way, but I'm kinda accident prone and I've also got three kids running around the house, so it would be just a matter of time before somebody opened the door onto my head. This little creation is a lovely way to just relax on the floor while my neck is gently coaxed into a position that brings it a good amount of stretch and relief. It's got a notch in the middle to cradle the spine so there's no uncomfortable pressure there, and the material is soft enough to provide some cushion, but hard enough to provide solid support.I've only been using it for a few days and only for about 5-10 minutes at a time and already my neck is feeling a little bit better. Even if it does nothing to help my neck pain in the long run, the relief it provides while I'm using it is worth its weight in gold.
