Perfect for vintage manual m42 lenses on my Sony a5100, build quality is all metal so it is durable and can hold the absolute tanks that are old Russian lenses. Especially when the lens weighs 3x the weight of the body :')

Really well made and so very fine as a design item. Works really well. Fits really well. The only weakness is the glossy internal black finish that reflects some light sometimes and creates glare in some images. Paint your barrel internal shaft matt black K&F! C'mon! I spray painted the internals after taking it apart. It only takes 30 minutes. Taking into account a top quality adapter tears your money for over £100 this is a very good adapter if you are able to paint the insides. And it is incredibly heavy, but it feels superb.

I haven't tried any other model but this does the job well at a fair price.Easy to connect, feels sturdy, looks good, came in a nice box.Photo taken with a worn Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm 1.4 on a A7RIII.Edit -- it does leak a bit of light (test with a 30 sec exposure with front cap on) but to me this gives a very interesting effect - see photo, it doesn't spoil the image but gives it a luminous effect, like the light is bleeding out of the photo.Please note: Their updated model, with the copper ring matching that of the camera doesn't leak light (same test). Keep this in mind if you don't like that, as it's only a few pounds more. (I have tested that updated model on a M42 model as well, no light leak.

I've given this item 5 stars because it's beautifully made and for the very low cost it's an absolute bargain.The bad news is that it doesn't fit my Minolta lenses, the adapter fits into the camera beautifully but my lenses don't fit into the adapter!I cannot blame the supplier because they have sent me exactly what I asked for, which was obviously the wrong item for my needs. All of my Minolta lenses are the auto focus 9000 camera type and maybe there is an adapter that they will fit into. I wasn't expecting the autofocus contacts to work and would have been quite happy to use manual adjustment.To conclude I advise anybody considering an adapter to give this company a try but make sure that you order the correct one.I will not be returning the item because for £9.99 I took a chance and it didn't pay off, and it isn't worth the hassle.

The media could not be loaded.  NIK(G) - NEXThe build quality is nice, though quite heavy. When changing aperture, I don't know what aperture I am on and it is very easy to accidentally change the aperture, which is annoying if trying to film something.

Using this for an old vintage lens on Sony A7 and it works brilliant

I bought one of these to use an old Minolta "Beercan" 70-210mm lens with a newer E Mount camera. Now, it could just be a complete coincidence, but it took one photo and then displayed "Camera Error Turn Power Off Then On"... which of course you can't without removing the battery. So I now have a camera which can take one photo before having to reboot it by taking the battery out and then replacing it. Adapter was fitted correctly. Instructions were followed slavishly. Now I am looking at a £190 repair bill.

Works perfectly to connect some of my great Nikon glass to my E Mount Freefly high speed camera. Fit is excellent and the release latch is smooth and easily releases the F mount lenses.

Just got this K&F Concept adapter for my Sony FX30, and it's been awesome. Needed something to adapt my Helios 44-2, and this thing did the trick perfectly. No issues at all, it just worked.The build feels super sturdy. Doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy, which is great. I was kinda worried about attaching my Helios to the camera, but this adapter made it easy. It fits snugly and securely, so I'm not stressed about the lens wobbling or anything.Installing it was easy too. Just popped it on my camera and the lens, and voila, ready to go. It’s manual, but that's obvious since it's for old m42 glassSo, if you're looking for a good adapter to use old lenses on your Sony, this K&F one is a great pick. Works flawlessly, feels solid, and it’s not too pricey. Definitely a good buy!
