Portable Folding Plastic Egg Carrier Holder Storage Container for 12 Eggs - Orange

I was quite excited to find this product as my friend has hens and I get eggs from her. I am always looking for the cardboard egg boxes to give her and this product looked like it would solve all my problems. It took ages to arrive and when I got my first delivery of eggs some of them were smashed because the size of the space for the eggs is tiny. Inside the hole there are little pegs that will help stop the egg spinning around but these make the space even smaller. My friend's hens lay quite small eggs compared to supermarket eggs and these were too big to fit in this holder. Unless you have quails or very small poultry I would say this box is a waste of time. Pity really as its quite a nice firm quality.EDIT :I threw one of these in the bin because I was annoyed that it had broken my eggs with the stupid pins that are in the bottom of each section. The second one I bought lay in the drawer for ages. However, I was looking at it one day and it looked to me that it should be big enough to fit the eggs....... so I got out an egg and a knife. I tried the egg in the holder just in case but it was definitely too big. I took the knife and used it to break off the pins that are in the bottom of each section. If you lever a flat knife (like a table knife not a sharp pointed one!) agains the pins they snap off. It took me a while but once I had removed the 72 small pins the eggs fitted. Originally I decided that the pins were there to hold the eggs from rattling inside the holder, I have now decided that the pins were from the plastic moulding process and should have been removed but were probably left to save money in the production costs.My initial annoyance has now abated and I grudgingly admit that the holder is actually suitable for purpose if you spend the time to adapt it.

I got this because I buy my eggs from a guy at work and thought it would save him supplying egg boxes.i could take this to work he would fill it with eggs and nice and easy to carry home but no not one egg fitted in the container,not happy would not recommend

Didn't quite like this as there's 4 little plastic bits on the top and bottom of each egg section. When you try to close the holder, your eggs gets broken. I'm not sure if you have to remove all these before use but it is the only way to save your eggs from breakage and would be very time consuming.

just the job but not really big enough for large eggs. i closed the lid on some large eggs and it broke the shells od 2 of them.

Although it looks fine,i put eggs in it and lid won't stay shut. They are not big eggs. So all told i have wasted my money can't use it to transport eggs.

The egg nests have jaggy points sticking out . Had to remove lid as holder too large for fridge.

Tiene un problema y es que en la parte de dentro del contenedor de los huevos lleva unas rebabas, supuestamente para mejorar la sujeción del mismo, pero los daña... He tenido que quitar dichas rebabas y no es fácil de quitar.

El cierre no cierra bien. No se aguanta cerrado y se abre a la minima que se mueve, con lo cual los huevos se desperdigan jajaja si es para guardar en nevera vale... si es para transportar, mejor buscar otro

La huevera la he tirado a la basura. En cada hueco para poner el huevo tenía un pincho del mismo material.Se podría pensar que era una rebaba del material al fabricarlo...no se...al cerrar la huevera..los huevos estallaronInservible este producto

No me gusta porque no caben los huevos. Sólo serviría para tamaño de huevos muy pequeños porque al cerrar se romperían los demás

Es exactamente lo que pedi, pero tardaron mas de la cuenta para servir, sobre unos quince dias de mas, pero estaba informado

no me a gustado nada. los huevos no entran y se rompen con los pinchos que tiene, el cierre no es ficaz, se abre

Le seul petit problème : à l'intérieur des compartiments à œufs, on trouve des petits "pics", e qui empêche l'œuf de se placer correctement, d'où la casse de celui-ci lorsqu'on referme la boite. (couper les petits "pics" à l'aide d'un coupe ongles......)

Pues eso, para lo que cuesta está bien, si los huevos que recoges son grandes no lo compres porque no te va a cerrar. A mi se me han roto mas de dos ya que en El Centro tiene unos pinchos que evitan que se muevan, pero los agujeros son tan justos que si el huevo es grande, te lo rompe.

Article inutilisable en l'état, des picots présents dans le fond de chaque alvéole percent les œufs à la fermeture de la boite, j'ai été obligé de les couper avec un ciseau à bois pour pouvoir utiliser cette boiteJe suis bricoleur et bien outillé mais tout le monde n'a pas un ciseau à bois dans sa cuisine, donc je ne recommande pas cet article

Me parece una tomadura de pelo, es una huevera para huevos de codorniz no para huevos de gallina. Los huevos de gallina aunque sean pequeños no valen porque se rompen.Eso deberían indicarlo a la hora de comprar.Me siento engañada.

Sieht hübsch aus aber:- drinnen passen nur kleine Eier- jedes Ei wird von unten und von oben mit 3 kleinen "Griffen" stabilisiert. Diese sind so spitz, dass gleich 2 Eier kaputt gingen. Das Produkt ist nicht ausreichend durchdacht.Wirklich nicht empfehlenswert.Die Farbe ist schön und die Qualität des Kunststoffs ist sehr gut.

Huevos grandes no caben. Pero para huevos talla Mediana está perfecto. Trae unos pinchitos para que el huevo no esté en contacto con la base para evitar golpes

No caben los huevos, por lo tanto a la basura ha ido porque para otra cosa no serbía. Un desescanto

Lo compré en naranja y me ha venido en verde. Un pequeño detalle sin apenas importancia aunque no me ha gustado nada ese cambio.Lo estrenaré este próximo fin de semana cuando compre huevos.
