Works ok, but has a very cheap plastic feel to it.My biggest concern is that there's no clamp to secure the mains wires going into and out of the other side of the switch. I really doubt this has passed UK safety standards as that's an accident waiting to happen. The only thing preventing the wires being pulled out are those tiny brass screws in the connector terminals, very dodgy indeed. Had there been children or pets in the house I wouldn't have used it.I got around the issue (to a degree) by looping the wires around plastic screw covers inside the switch. It made it incredibly difficult to wire it (You need 2 pairs of hands!) but at least you could tug the cables without them coming out.

Does what it says very well.

Terminals fiddly

In line this switch looked good with my standard lamp. Now I don't have to bend to operate. It is ideal

There are no wiring instructions, but if you look carefully there are markings in the plastic moulding to indicate L N & earth. But, my problem was that both terminals each had a brass screw with a damaged head so they could not be unscrewed to let the wire in. I had to improvise.

very happy with it

Bought one of these some time ago. After less than a year the switch failed to latch on so I bought another to replace the switch element. The replacement did not have screw terminals as the original did. I assume these are cage clamp terminals but there's no instructions how to open the clamp. Please provide instructions. The add still says it uses screw terminals.

Works well, easy to fit with screw in fixing for electric cables.
