Re-wired a bunch of stuff on my boat with this. Crimpers work awesome. Don’t try to overstuff wires into too small a connector. Shrinking tube nature of the connectors also very reliable. Great tool.

Lot of reviews complain about loose crimps. The problem is not in the tool or connectors, but cheap wire that is not as wide as spec for the particular crimp. This tool use a ratchet lever to reduce force needed to squeeze the handle - and has a positive "stop" when the crimp *should* be complete. If the wire is a little thin, it is possible to get a loose crimp. This has happened to me. I twist test and then pull test every crimp. When I find one loose, a do a partial squeeze on the next size down on the tool - using the little ratchet release lever between the handles to let go. This gets a solid crimp on those smaller-than-spec wires....

Nice kit. The crimper is good and the variety of connectors was great.

I've used these numerous times already repairing wiring on our trailers. Not only crimps the connector tight. But has a shrinktube and a adhesive that sticks to the actual wire to help seal it better.

I really like this product. Has a lot of sizes, works perfect and is easy to use.

Makes really professional looking electrical joints, the crimp tool makes a really secure connection and then the heat shrink tubing around it makes it even stronger, as long as you actually heat it up to seal it.
