Modern, bright lamp, easy to assemble
For my small apartment this is perfect size and perfectly suited my modernist furniture style. The packaging was very good, protecting the glass shade, and it was very easy to assemble and use. Love the foot switch and the bright light now in my piano and reading alcove. Liked the look of this lamp so much, I ordered the pair of matching, touch lamps. If modern is your aesthetic, these are a great buy!

Cool lamp
This is a great lamp.. The look of it is cool. I ordered this for my son’s bedroom. It was easy to put together. His only complaint was that it was a little bright. So we changed the bulb to give softer light. Now it’s perfect. Great buy! Would buy it again

these are pretty and will work
Really like the look of them; price is great for the value. We didn't take into consideration that the clear shades would disperse the light in a diffused way, so they are not super great for reading or detailed work (like knitting). With a regular shade on a lamp, the light comes down on you, whereas this one just goes "out" and is therefore not as bright. But with all the butt ugly lamps out there, this one is pretty and we'll keep it.

Great lamp for a small space
I was looking for a simple lamp to put in my entry. This lamp is perfect. It was easy to put together and very sturdy. It comes with a 60 watt bulb which is plenty bright. You can use a 40 watt to create a little more ambiance.

Looks great
Easy to assemble and very sturdy! Looks great in our living room. The light is bright enough to make a difference but not too bright so makes a lovely evening light.

Great Lamp for the Price
This lamp is a great buy for the price, it looks very nice and gives off plenty of light. The lamp comes with several shade colors/styles. We tried a few and found the opaque white to be right for us because it helped with Glare on the TV and gave the warmest light of the ones we tested. The lamp was very easy to assemble and is a very simple design.

I purchased this for my living room for a corner dark (for my liking) area.This light is beautiful, bright, and perfect!I would recommend it.
