Great quality, great price.
Very nice garment. It fits well. Feels good. It is a fine fabric, perhaps too light for some. Buy the Meriwool if you want a heavier weight, but this item is a joy to wear.

Excellent, comfortable base layer, 100% merino, at a great price
When I saw the price and the review of this Merino Protect shirt, I had to try it! I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality of Merino Protect's shirts. I now have 3 of them. I'm a big fan of 100% merino wool - I commute by bicycle in NYC, and I prefer to wear 100% merino in all seasons. Most of the big names have taken to blending their merino with man-made fibers, which detracts from the quality and experince. This long-sleeve model does a great job - the material is really soft, it wicks sweat wonderfully, and works great in the cooler weather under my windbreaker. The length is great; it's a bit longer than a typical cotton T-shirt, which makes it perfect for cycling. I'm 5'8", 170lb, and the medium fits me perfectly - stays close to my skin for wicking, without being too snug. The only way I could think to improve the product would be to offer another model as well in a heavier fabric for those really cold days.

Comfortable, Cozy, yet Breathable
I bought this because I had been wearing cotton T's for work and it was winter and cold, and the T's weren't up to the task. Inside my office it was too cool for bare arms and too warm for a coat. I needed something that would cover my arms, so I could be comfortable. I wanted a natural fabric because polyester is becoming a pollutant, it doesn't breathe well, and it holds onto body odor. I had heard many good things about merino wool, and had been looking at base layers to purchase. This product seemed to be everything that I could want. When I tried it on after removing it from the package, I was worried it was going to be scratchy. I don't tolerate scratchy wool. However what I thought was scratchiness was just crisp newness. After one pass through the wash, the shirt softened up and I completely forget I'm wearing it. The more I wash it, the softer it seems to get.I have never smelled body odor on it, but it is so breathable that I have never worked up a serious sweat while wearing it, even though my job requires a fair amount of walking.6 month update: Holes have formed in the elbows.

Merino protect
I really liked these shirts when I got them. They’re great for layering, comfortable, and have some stretch. The down side after a year the 2 shirts I purchased are riddled with holes.I wash them in the washer and hang them to dry just like all my wool clothing. They don’t hold up. Hand wash if buying, they may hold up better….
